★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1What can I say? This is a great little spot in the Bronx for Dominican-tasting food. My wife and kids loclved the atmosphere and staff. The chef even came out and took picture with my daughters. We are definitely coming back. Thank staff and Yala
August 08 · Edwin GomezThe food was amazing, the staff friendly and professional, and the ambience was like being back home. I love a well prepared Churrasco that is cooked properly and delivers flavor and the right amount of juiciness. Let me say first the Churrasco smelled divine, it did not over power but just the right amount to get your mouth watering. As you cut in to the steak it’s the perfect level of tenderness to get you excited to taste the meat and once you take the first bit, it’s like a little bit of heaven in your mouth. The best part is the steak delivers from beginning to end. Definitely on the must redo list.
June 24 · Maicol OsorioFirst time visiting was not aware they only take cash. Luckily there is an ATM on site. The server we had was not very knowledgeable as far as the menu. The server was not able to answer questions regarding certain meals. Tap water is not an available option, considering NY has some of the best water, If you wanted water you had to purchase a bottle. Also no diet sod available. No bread or anything offered to snack on while you waited for your food. Our meal took 1 hour. It did come out hot which was great. The food was very tasty.
April 25 · Johanna BaezIt's a great small cozy restaurant. The food is great and she's also trying new plates to her customers from Tomahawk steak, Lambs chop and Surf and Turf to many more. Yala is a very creative chef. Great customer services. The only purpose I didn't gave them a five is because they don't take credit card/debit and they don't sell beers or anything type of alcohol.
March 19 · Josie P.For the price they charge, the food should be better. Everything lacked seasoning. The arepitas de yuca had no salt at all. They also sent me the wrong beans, which were not your traditional Dominican beans and weren't good. The food used to be much better.
