★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Food looked tasty, and thats about it! Service was nonexistent, the waitress did greet us and showed us a table, but didn't even ask if we needed a highchair. She never came back to offer the menu... drinks? Not even eye contact. There were 3 tables full in the restaurant when we came in, and still it seems they either are understaffed or was she new?Not giving it another chance.
July 02 · Gabriela AgamaI absolutely love this place!! Nancy goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable and that you're eating exactly what you want. The food here is like the kind that your mother cooks, it doesn't feel nothing like a restaurant and that's what keeps me coming here over and over again. Aside from how good the food tastes here, what differentiates "La Vecina" from the rest is the variety of dishes they have everyday and again how great it tastes.
March 11 · Moreno BlackThis restaurant I been before because like at night the atmosphere me as a guy they have like music sometimes on the weekends some good looking girls and the food I mean it's a hit and miss
August 10 · Oliver HernandezDo not recommend. They need to step up their cleanliness. Just ordered food and was given a vinegar bottle with a dead bug floating inside. And I didn’t notice til after I poured it all over my food. Did I receive an apology? No instead she try to convince that the dead bug with wings in the bottle was something produced by the vinegar bottle. Unbelievable.
October 26 · AndreaOrdered food from this restaurant and it was honestly terrible. This is my first time writing a review for a restaurant in my life, but for all the places you can get spanish food in the Bronx, this ain't the one. Everything was salty, and all of the meat you can tell was the cheapest meat money can buy by all of the sketchy tiny bones in it. Even the chicken in the Sancocho had bones in it and had a bite of yucca in it I literally had to spit out because it tasted like moth balls. Everything else that was ordered was fried but you can tell that it wasn't fried fresh because it wasn't crispy at all. A huge disappointment and a waste of money for $35 worth of food that had to be thrown away by people who would literally eat anything put in front of them. Fingers crossed we don't get sick, but I guess we'll have to wait and see!
