Lala’s Brooklyn Apizza offers several services to accommodate its customers, whether they're looking for a relaxed meal or a quick bite.
The services you can take advantage of include:
Dine-in: The primary way to enjoy Lala’s is to dine in. The beautiful rooftop seating and cozy atmosphere make it an enjoyable place to sit down for a meal and a drink. The "fast service" is a highlight, ensuring that even when busy, customers are well taken care of.
Takeout: For those on the go, the takeout service is a convenient option. You can place your order and pick it up to enjoy their delicious pizza at home or on the go.

Lala’s Brooklyn Apizza distinguishes itself through its dedication to quality ingredients, unique atmosphere, and a menu that’s both classic and inventive.
Some of the key features and highlights include:
New Haven Style Pizza: The star of the show is the New Haven-style "apizza," known for its thin, crispy crust with a distinctive char. The dough is made with a special sourdough culture and is rolled with a rolling pin for an ultra-thin pie. This style is less about cheese and more about the delicate balance of crust, sauce, and toppings.
Rooftop Seating: The rooftop seating is a major draw, providing a scenic and open-air dining experience that's hard to find in the city. The space is perfect for enjoying a beautiful day or a lovely evening with friends.
Craft Beer and Wine: The restaurant has a bar on-site with a fantastic selection of craft beers and wines, a perfect pairing for their pizzas. The beer selection, in particular, is noted by customers for its quality and unique varieties, with options like spontaneous ales and barley wines.
Unique and Locally Sourced Ingredients: The menu features locally sourced ingredients, and some dishes highlight the suppliers, a detail customers love. The Bacon & Jam pizza, for example, features Benton’s bacon and house-made fig jam, showcasing a commitment to quality and creative flavor combinations.
Inclusivity: Lala’s is an LGBTQ+ friendly and transgender safe space, with a gender-neutral restroom. This focus on creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone makes it a beloved spot in the community.

The Hot Pepperoni Pie is a popular choice, known for its perfect balance of savory, sweet, and spicy flavors. For a truly authentic experience, the Clam Pie is a must-try. As a New Haven-style pizza staple, it is a great way to experience this regional specialty.
For a more unique and adventurous choice, the Squash Pie offers a seasonal and flavorful option that showcases the chef's creativity. The Cozy Pie, with its blend of mashed potatoes and pickled cherry tomatoes, is another innovative and delicious choice that has a dedicated following.
Beyond the pizzas, the desserts and drinks are highly recommended. The Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie has been described as "SO GOOD," making it the perfect way to finish your meal. And for a perfect pairing, be sure to ask about the current selection of craft beers or wines, as they are specifically chosen to complement the food. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Nice atmosphere upstairs at Lala’s Apizza (pronounced “uh-bEEtz”, as it is in New Haven). I just wish Lala’s was open all week (it’s weekend only). If the bottled “All My Friends Were There” barley wine ale was carbonated it’d be better. Well presented pepperoni apizza, but next time, I’ll add mozzarella.
April 18 · Jason OrtizWow, this spot is amazing for delicious craft beer and super flavorful food with locally sourced ingredients (I love that they actually provide the suppliers for all of them!)I loved the spontaneous ales - both the Koyo Berry and Apricots & Riesling Grapes varieties in their Ambient Fizz line are amazing! For food, I highly recommend the Bacon & Jam pizza witn mozzarella, Benton’s bacon, bucheron goat cheese, and house-made fig jam. Such a perfect salty-sweet combo! The malted chocolate chip cookie is also SO GOOD!!Can’t wait to come back and try more 😍
April 03 · Anna ZhukThe bar tender was super helpful and our server Michael was great. The pizza and beer was so good didn’t get photo till we were almost done.
July 26 · A BFood was delicious, loved both of the pizzas I got, super fresh and yummy, the atmosphere was fun and nice. Overall great experience, I highly recommend!
August 10 · Elizabeth Adhvaryu-ValenteStopped by here on a cloudy / rainy Sunday early afternoon for my gfs bday with a party of 9 people. The inside was on the full side so we didn't find any open seats when we arrived but after a few minutes a group left and we were able to sit together. The atmosphere is mixed. There were groups that were celebrating a kids birthday as well as other groups celebrating adult bdays. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the pizza did not satisfy anyone in our group. These pizzas are equivalent to a dominos thin crust except that dominos has more flavor. The drinks were good, my gf enjoyed all of the drinks she ordered. It's a decent place to come hangout, have drinks with friends and munch on some snacks after a few drinks but I would not come here just for their pizza. Do not expect NYC style flavored pizza here. Expect watered down Domino's thin crust. And this is coming from a Queens native who loves 🍕.
