August 21 · Grace EncarnacionAfter hearing about this restaurant from friends and social media, we decided to try it for ourselves on my partner's birthday, and we truly enjoyed the experience. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was delicious. We had made reservations, so we were promptly seated, which was great. The atmosphere was inviting, with the sun still shining at 6:30 PM and lamps on the table creating a lovely ambiance.We started with the "Tonno," which was the a lovely tuna tartare, with bright notes. The combination of tapioca and tomatoes burst with freshness and opened up my palate for the next course. I ordered the "Agnolotti Del Plin," while my partner chose the lasagna. Both dishes were superb; decadent, creamy, and full of flavor. We paired them with a glass of red and orange wine.With a little room left, we decided to try the Bistecca, which was cooked lightly on the fire. We had hoped for a bit more char on the outside, but it was cooked medium rare, which we liked. We concluded the night with desserts: a tiramisu and the albicocca, recommended by our server. The pairing of apricot and chocolate with sesame crisp on top was unusual for us, but it surprisingly worked well together. We will definitely be back!

The lasagna was excellent, lots of flavor with the spinach noodles and plenty of meat in the filling. The tiramisu dessert was delicious as well. It is a little off the beaten track into Brooklyn but worth the trek.
