Lee Good Taste Introduce
In the dynamic and diverse food scene of New York City, local Chinese restaurants have long been a cornerstone of neighborhood dining, offering comforting and familiar flavors for a quick meal or a relaxed dinner. Lee Good Taste, located at 2686 Pitkin Ave in Brooklyn, is one such establishment that serves the local community with a menu of classic Chinese dishes. As a professional content writer specializing in local business SEO, my aim is to provide an honest, factual, and engaging overview of this restaurant, helping residents in the New York region understand its services, offerings, and unique position in the neighborhood.
Lee Good Taste is a straightforward, no-frills Chinese restaurant that caters to those looking for a satisfying and affordable meal. Its focus is on providing popular Chinese-American comfort food, from flavorful fried rice to a variety of noodles and classic entrees. The restaurant’s name suggests a commitment to quality, a sentiment echoed by at least one customer review praising the "great" food, specifically mentioning "soft and juicy" spare ribs and "good" tasting rice.
However, it is also important to address the full scope of available public information. One customer review raises a significant concern about a past C letter grade from a health inspection and the restaurant's decision to remove the grade rather than address the underlying issues. While the accuracy and current status of this health grade can only be confirmed through the city's official records, it is a piece of feedback that a potential diner may encounter. The purpose of this article is to present all available data, allowing the reader to make a well-rounded decision based on both the positive aspects of the food and the reported concerns.
Located at 2686 Pitkin Ave in the Cypress Hills neighborhood of Brooklyn, Lee Good Taste is a staple in a highly populated residential area. Its position on a well-traveled street makes it an accessible option for people living and working nearby. The address is easy to find, and the restaurant is likely a part of the daily routine for many locals who rely on it for a quick meal.
As a neighborhood spot, its accessibility is one of its main draws. For customers who prefer not to cook after a long day or who are looking for a convenient meal, its location is ideal. The restaurant is a walk-up, counter-service style establishment, with no outdoor seating or the need for reservations. This casual setup is perfect for the fast-paced nature of a bustling Brooklyn neighborhood, where efficiency and speed are often prioritized.
Lee Good Taste offers a focused set of services that cater to convenience and speed, making it a popular choice for daily dining.

This is a crucial feature for a Chinese restaurant in New York, as many customers prefer to enjoy their meals at home or at their workplace. This service model is built for efficiency, ensuring that food gets to the customer quickly.
Lunch and Dinner Service: The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner, making it a reliable option for a meal at various times throughout the day. It is a go-to spot for a lunchtime break or an easy dinner solution, fitting into the routine of its local clientele.

Varied Menu: Despite its casual nature, the restaurant offers a diverse menu that includes more than just standard Chinese-American fare. It features a selection of Ramen dishes, including "Spicy Miso" and "Hakata Tonkotsu," which adds a different dimension to its offerings. This is a notable feature for a local Chinese spot.
Focus on Comfort Food: The menu is heavily centered on comfort food, with categories like "Noodles & Rice" and "Light and Healthy Entrées." This makes it an ideal place for a satisfying meal that feels familiar and comforting, with options like "Fresh Fried Rice," "Lo Mein Noodles," and "Chicken With Broccoli & Mixed Veggies."
Affordable Pricing: The menu prices are generally affordable, making it a budget-friendly option for students, families, and anyone looking to get a full meal without a high cost. Items like appetizers and entrees are priced to be accessible, which is a key factor in its popularity with locals.
Cash-Only Payments: One of the key features of the restaurant is that it is a "Cash-only" establishment. This is an important detail for potential customers to know in advance, as it affects their payment planning. It is a common practice for smaller, local eateries, but is a feature that sets it apart from larger chains.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Food was bad, so I stopped going for a while but wanted to give it another shot.Resturant removed their letter grade so I went to look it up and see what it was and what violations they have. They have a C letter grade from not properly cleaning the prep and cooking areas and equipment. The fact that they decided to just remove the grade instead of fixing their practices and getting retested is why I would never go back there.
March 29 · Khalica MooreFood is great. I orderednahrimp fried rice and long spareribs. The rice tasted good and the spareribs was soft amd juicy.

May 26 · Phindi WilsonFor all of you doing reviews please look and this one! I live right around the corner from this store. I’ve been going to them for years. 1. Their food is really good, but over time their bbq sauce has become kind of water down. 2. Their pricing has double thing that we’re $3 are now $6 so don’t trust the menu on Google. 3. Their service is 3/5 bc they are very busy so they work fast and have short convo so make your order simple short and understandable (they can’t speak proper english). 4. Their atmosphere is very pleasesnt they have customers all the time they work fast and even though their pricing has gone up it’s still pretty reasonable. $20 can get 2 meals and 1 side. Overall their is no other place i know that is better than this one.
December 30 · Julissa EvansThey got lazy, but food is still good sometimes.**update**Still the same hit or miss with this place. The chicken wings I ordered tasted like it came from the trash & smelled like it too. In the past this place was my go-to. Now I just don't bother anymore.
