In the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn, residents and visitors alike are lucky to have Little Purity, a beloved local spot that perfectly encapsulates the welcoming atmosphere and satisfying menu that define a great New York diner. More than just a place to grab a quick bite, Little Purity has established itself as a cornerstone of the community, a spot where fast service meets high-quality comfort food, and where everyone—from solo diners to large groups—feels right at home.
Little Purity offers the kind of unpretentious, extensive menu that a true diner should, covering all the bases from a hearty breakfast to a satisfying late-day meal. Whether you’re fueling up before a busy day of commuting, meeting a friend for a casual lunch, or simply craving that perfect piece of pie, this Brooklyn gem delivers on all fronts. Its reputation for fantastic food, coupled with exceptionally friendly service and a cozy atmosphere, makes it a must-visit location for anyone seeking an authentic and enjoyable neighborhood dining experience. The dedication of the owners, who are often present and engaging with customers, truly sets the tone for a 10/10 experience, making patrons feel like part of the family.
For many in the city, the diner is an institution—a place of familiarity in the urban hustle. Little Purity excels in this role, offering both the classic American staples and a few delightful surprises, all served with remarkable efficiency. The feedback from local patrons consistently praises the great food and stellar service, often noting the high quality of menu items that might seem simple elsewhere, like the famously delicious sausage links—described by one reviewer as “out of this world delicious.” It’s these small, perfectly executed details that transform a good meal into a great one.
Little Purity is perfectly situated in the vibrant and accessible Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. You can find this essential local spot at:

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I stopped in on the recommendation of my coworker. It was definitely worth the hour commute for me so if you're in the area I definitely recommend checking it out. The waffle was good but those sausage links. Those sausage links were out of this world delicious. Crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside.Rini and Cecilia were fantastic as well. Service was great, and they clearly love the place and engaging with their customers. 10/10 experience.
August 31 · Saajan PanikarThere are three reasons people flock to this diner:1. Great food2. Great service (owners are always present and super friendly).3. Great atmosphere.A word of advice, try to visit during the week because how great this place is is no secret!
August 19 · Brooklyn NeilThis place is a classic! Oy halls that old school vibe! It can get pretty busy. However, we got a table on a Sunday in less than 15min. Worth the wait! Food was delicious and service was excellent! One remark I had was the generous amount of bacon, you will never go wrong with more bacon! Absolutely recommended!
April 13 · cristina marinThe greatest diner in Park Slope Brooklyn and the best in the Big Apple! Warm friendly and cozy, the staff are like family. They accommodate as best as they can with a wide variety of food for meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. It’s great for the family, meeting with friends or co-workers, and just to hang out to eat world class food. You’ve got to try the Lox Monster for breakfast and the tuna club for lunch is perfect! I’ve been enjoying Little Purity’s for almost 7 years and I keep coming back!Little Purity is the place to be!
July 23 · David NeivertAbsolutely unacceptable experience, discriminatory, illegal, and rude.My pregnant wife and I visited Little Purity in Brooklyn with our fully trained and federally recognized service dog. Upon arrival, the manager refused us entry, claiming that dogs are not allowed, even after we explained that our dog is a service animal protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).We are both attorneys and are well-versed in the law. The manager began incorrectly citing legal code and rudely dismissed our explanation. His tone was aggressive and demeaning, and as we were walking away, he sarcastically yelled “Have a good day!” a final insult after denying us access in violation of federal civil rights law.Let’s be clear, this was not just rude customer service, this was illegal discrimination. Under the ADA, service animals are allowed in all public accommodations, including restaurants, without exception. To make matters worse, the manager showed zero empathy or professionalism, not even the decency to engage in a civil conversation. The experience was humiliating, dehumanizing, and frankly outrageous. If you care about inclusion, basic decency, and the law, I recommend you take your business elsewhere. Little Purity has shown itself to be not only uninformed, but also hostile and unwelcoming.
