★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1How did I discover this bakery so late? The breads are delicious! The pineapple bun's top stays crispy overnight. I love that the red bean isn't overly sweet. The service is excellent, and the prices are incredibly reasonable! I'll definitely be coming back.
November 04 · Sze Sze MaWe lived a block away 8-9 years ago. If we have something to do in Brooklyn we never skip our favorite bakery!!We miss them so much! They still remember what I loved from the store, and how I loved my coffee.I use to have every morning my coffee from this little corner bakery. Hot or ice both are the best.My daughter love the hot dog buns there I’m crazy for the custard bun,my son for the triangle sandwich and custard tart, my hubby for the pineapple roll. We tried everything ! Price still very-very reasonable almost like 8 years ago and quality still the same! It’s not a fancy nancy bakery but the food worth every penny!
August 09 · Brigitta DanyiI used to buy a lot of pastries here… but not anymore! I go there in the morning everyday I would always greet them and never get greeted back. One morning I walked in and was about to great the owner and immediately asked me (what you want?) instead of saying good mornin or hello and I order my stuff and an Asian guy walked in right before me and got greeted by the owner I’ve been going there for 12 plus years. I always have a problem with the employees calling me name in mandarin or Cantonese laughing with each other talking shit about me. Very rude! I’ll go somewhere my money is valued. Never setting foot at this bakery.
June 07 · Supreme Fixi know this isn't like 8th ave, flushing, or Manhattan Chinatown ... but have never been to a NYC Chinese Bakery that serves leftover breads, includes loose hair, and the two ladies at the counter are rude as hell. One lady went into a tirade because one of the nickels i paid with was oxidized and she thought it was a penny... like gypt her out of 4 cents apparent for a 50 dollar order of bread. We asked for basically 3 of most of their inventory, and the corn in the ham buns was almost as rock hard as uncooked, the rest of the breads from coconut cream to hot dogs bao to roast pork were clearly leftover and hardening also. I guess get what we pay for...
June 14 · Sea ChanFood is always yummy and super affordable. Service is always friendly and fast. I always make sure to tip when I go to make up for their extremely low prices, they never seem to raise it, even in this economy!
