I ordered tomato soft scramble adding a fried chicken cutlet and they are both very tasty especially the chicken cutlet is juicy inside but crispy outside. Also tried the melon ban and strawberry dragonfruit Rick cracker, they are all amazing! I’ll definitely come back try out all the dishes.Last but definitely not least, the Chashu Pork Buns is phenomenal. Make sure you have it warm instead of cold. The pork cubes are the biggest and most delicious I ever have for the same kinda
June 13 · Huang YichengMama T’s is one of the cutest Amer-Asian cafes in the city! Lots of delicious savory and sweet pastries (the dragonfruit rice crispy is so good, same with the sweet buns), and a lovely drink menu too (Ube, need I say more??) They even have a menu of larger dishes if you’re looking for lunch, all inspired by different Asian-American fusions (Korean, Filipino, even Mongolian!) The staff are LOVELY and I can’t wait to go back and try more things. 10/10 recommend

May 30 · Shanley ArizonaFinished off a walking tour of the neighborhood by grabbing a bite in La Marqueta, an area I remember being the outdoor markets where vendors would sell everything from flowers to clothes to different kind of fresh foods. Now it’s one of those food markets with all the vendors and shops inside. Including Mama T Cafe which is where I decided to eat. About half of the other shops were closed since it’s a Sunday.I ordered a Mama’s chicken bowl and it was just ok and unfortunately not warm enough or really prepared correctly. Too much rice, should’ve added fresher chicken (instead of reheating the fried chicken that had been sitting out for who knows how long on the counter) and came with macaroni and lettuce salad. The service was great and the special matcha cloud drink on the menu was a treat. One of the vendors had Bad Bunny playing which along with all the flags and decorative furniture reminded you where you are: El Barrio (aka Spanish Harlem), NYC 🇵🇷
