Choosing Mangia in Staten Island is a decision to prioritize authentic flavor, exceptional quality, and outstanding service—the trifecta of a great New York dining experience. What makes Mangia truly worth choosing is its mastery of specialized Italian-American cuisine. Patrons rave about the pizzas, particularly the "SFINICIONE PIZZA," which is described as "OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!" and a standout regional specialty. Their **Sicilian pizza**, including varieties like the sun-dried tomato and olive slice, is also highly recommended and demonstrates their commitment to perfecting various dough styles.
Beyond the celebrated pies, the traditional Italian dishes are equally compelling. Customers have praised mains like the **Filet of Sole Oreganata** and specialty pasta dishes such as the **Fusilli all a Sandra** (Pasta with Artichoke, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, garlic and oil topped with toasted marinated breadcrumbs). The fact that a single restaurant excels at both staple **Pizza restaurant** offerings and complex Italian entrees speaks volumes about their culinary depth. These dishes are consistently reviewed as "delicious" and "great," highlighting the quality ingredients and preparation.
Moreover, the entire experience is enhanced by the friendly, personal touches. As one satisfied diner noted, "Besides the food being great the owner Pete is also very welcoming." This focus on warm hospitality, coupled with practical features like **Fast service** and the convenience of all five service options (Dine-in, Takeout, Delivery, Curbside, No-contact), solidifies Mangia's position as a premium local choice. August 14 · JenniferMy husband and I ate at Mangia the other day for lunch. It was delicious. My husband ordered the Filet of Sole Oreganata and I ordered the Fusilli all a Sandra (Pasta with Artichoke, sun dried tomatoes, olives, garlic and oil topped with toasted marinated breadcrumbs) Yum!The Filet of Sole Oreganata, was also delicious I had a little piece of my husbands. Besides the food being great the owner Pete is also very welcoming. We enjoyed a cold corona with our lunch. I definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner. I almost forgot they serve garlics knots and toasted bread with sauce instead of bread. You’ll see it in my pictures.

June 15 · Thomas P Smith NY REAL ESTATEFabulous place. Food was outstanding, I had the lobster ravioli, and wanted to go back the next day to order again. The bread plate before the meal was a highlight. We were a table of 9, everyone was thrilled with their meal! Wine and beer only. But don't let that stop you.
June 17 · Patty SpinelliI went with several family members today. They all raved about the fresh pasta dishes, bread, fish and desserts. Everyone will be returning. Thank you, Pete, for the accommodating and friendly atmosphere.
