Spanish restaurant, Bar ★4.0·$$

4.0
Food was absolutely delicious. Consider my rating on that aspect a **** 1/2 out of *****. The service was terrific. It was nice to have a waiter who knew the stuff and was helpful in coming to a menu choice. Had a ribeye steak while my wife had a skirt steak and both were great. Place doesn’t take credit or debit, it’s a strictly cash operation here. They have an ATM on the premises at the least but not to have the option to put it on a credit card kinda knocked a point off. Would strongly advise you try this. The shrimp tapas were out of this world especially. - Terrence A.

  • Castaño Solanera 2010 $45.00

65% Monastrell, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Garnacha Tintorera. Cclear, bright, deep, violet-purple color with mild structure to it. There are strong blackberry and cherry notes that follow through onto your palete. It's a dry wine but not to the point of excess and there's enough acidity here to cut through most foods making it a better dinner wine than a sipping wines. The balance is good, the finish very crisp and the tannins dry to puckering. Letting the bottle breath at least 20 minutes seems to really help.
