★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is a nice Hong Kong style restaurant that is in the middle of a residential area. The food is mostly good, albeit expensive. It was worth checking out. The lava toast was amazing and the chicken salad was also really good. I would come back to try the other items on the menu.
March 21 · Erik ZAwesome little breakfast/lunch spot. Staff is extremely friendly and for a full self service type of restaurant, they really take care of you. Prices are a touch on the expensive side but well worth it in my opinion. Portion sizes are generous as well. I’d definitely come back to try some other items on the menu. We ordered the gyudon and crispy pork chop and cheese in fresh tomato sauce over rice. The gyudon was standard, very delicious and homey but nothing crazy. The crispy pork however, was absolutely delicious. Big portion and pork katsu was spot on. The tartness of the tomato really cuts the fattyness of the pork. Definitely recommend.
June 05 · Aidan TennHad driven by the cafe many times and finally stopped in for a quick early dinner. The decor was very Hkg style. Not fancy but nostalgic. We were welcomed and it's self service. We picked up a menu from the cashier and ordered 2 items & a black coffee. The scallion chicken was to die for. Juicy, tender and flavorful. Perfection. The other order was the Pork chop in tomato sauce and cheese. The potion was huge, 2 big breaded pork chop covered in tomato sauce and baked over cheese. The pork chop was lean and juicy. Very well done. Bravo.Will.def be back again to try other dishes.
March 28 · DJ LMust try the HK Milk tea, feels like I'm in Hong Kong. Good portion and tasty. The Scallion Chicken with daily soup is amazing. Couldn't wait for another around.Self Service, tips is not mandatory, you could save some money for dessert 😁
March 11 · Czar YeungThis is the first time I’ve ever written a review like this. I truly hope no one else has the same experience I did.I visited this restaurant for the first time today. I ordered a dish based on the staff’s recommendation and waited about 20 minutes for the food to arrive. The wait itself was fine. However, when the chicken dish was finally served, it was lukewarm, not freshly cooked. On top of that, it had a strong gamey smell. I tried dipping it in the sauce to see if that helped, but then I noticed the chicken wasn’t fully cooked—there was even visible blood.I told the staff, and they offered to remake it or let me order something else. I didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes, so I asked for a refund. But they said refunds aren’t allowed, and I had to choose another menu item instead. When I said I didn’t have time, the owner, in an irritated tone, said, “Then hurry up and order.” I was shocked by the attitude. So I replied, “This was your mistake and a waste of my time—shouldn’t there at least be an apology?” Only then did I receive a reluctant apology. The new dish I ordered was about a dollar cheaper than the original one. When I asked about the price difference, they said the first dish included a soup that costs $3.But the thing is, I never ordered a soup, nor was I told that a soup would be included. It just came out without explanation. I couldn’t understand how they could charge for something I didn’t even ask for. Finally, they asked me to sign the receipt “to avoid any issues later,” since I had changed the order. I took the second dish to go but ended up not eating it.
