What is worth choosing
Misirizzi's menu is filled with exceptional choices, but a few dishes truly stand out and showcase the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. A must-try is the Fritto Misto, a popular small plate that has garnered great reviews. Another highlight is the Carciofi Fritti (fried artichokes), which a customer described as a "big hit," praising their perfectly crispy texture and flavorful taste. These small plates are perfect for sharing and getting a sense of the kitchen's expertise.
For main courses, the Polpo (octopus) is a crowd-pleaser. One reviewer raved about it, saying it was "perfectly cooked—super tender and flavorful." This dish demonstrates the kitchen’s ability to handle delicate ingredients with skill. The Lasagna della Nonna is a tribute to classic comfort food and a favorite from the "FLAVOR OF NOSTALGIA" section, offering a taste of tradition and warmth. The Strozzapreti "Alla Bolognese" is another excellent choice for pasta lovers, combining classic flavors with a touch of modern flair.
Don't forget to save room for dessert. The Tiramisu is a perfect way to end the meal, a staple of any good Italian restaurant. For a lighter option, the Cannoli or Affogato are also excellent choices. The restaurant’s "Great dessert" highlight is well-earned.
Beyond the food, the wine list is a major draw. As a wine bar and with a wine cellar on site, the selection is extensive and carefully chosen to complement the menu. Whether you are an expert or just looking for a good glass, the staff can help you find the perfect pairing. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I love this place!! We did a surprise for my friends birthday and got this semi private space and it was just the best cozy venue we could have asked for!! The food was 10/10 & service definitely 10/10 too!!! I’ll definitely come back here especially for a small gathering.
August 25 · AiccaHad an amazing dinner at Misirizzi in SoHo! I got the grilled octopus and it was perfectly cooked—super tender and flavorful. We also shared the fried artichokes, which were a big hit. Cozy spot, great service, and the whole menu looked delicious. Definitely coming back!
July 15 · Michael PFound this place after an extensive internet search for a place to meet a relative from the UK who I was meeting for the first time. We drove up from Pa. We’re both of Italian descent and have both eaten in Italy and are very picky. We started off with cocktails at the bar where we spend an hour and a half chatting. The food didn’t not disappoint in the least. The lasagna was superb and light and the apps and other dishes were fantastic. Owner Alessandro, server Gloria along with the rest of the staff made our visit unforgettable. We definitely felt like we were in Italy. We plan on going back soon this summer.
March 23 · John MorrisonGerti and Gloria provide excellent service! We ordered Lasagna and Gnochi of the day and both were incredible. The food was fresh and the flavor so delicious. Ambiance and food presentation on point. Highly recommend this place.
May 26 · Andrea SolanoAmazing food, great atmosphere, wonderful staff. I had my fiance's 30th birthday here in the smaller private room and it was great. The staff was attentive, the food was amazing, the room was cozy.
