★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Delicious Israeli Street Food, Kosher or NotI’ve tried both the kosher and non-kosher locations in Israel, NY, and LV, and all the food tastes exactly the same—absolutely delicious! The prices are steep, but that’s expected for kosher fare in NYC.I usually go for vegetarian, and they did offer several vegetarian options, but when cauliflower costs almost the same as steak….. I went with the steak—no regrets. The main downside is the lack of seating and no bathroom access, even for dine-in customers. It’s clearly set up for takeout, with just a few tables and counter seating.Still, I’ll always support Israeli and Jewish businesses in New York. It was great to see such a diverse crowd enjoying the food—proof that good food brings people together.
July 21 · Basha HI had the falafel burger. Which is vegetarian. It was delicious. Pita was fresh, service was good. I didn’t like the lack of drink options, no seltzer—in NY?!?!? Also no bread to wash. That should be a given. Saw the mashgiach t’midi doing his work and place is spotless. Certainly an effort to keep things clean and the staff have a good system going worthy of the fast paced location they are situated in.
May 13 · Yehiel M KalishI gave it five stars about a year ago, but things seem to have gotten worse since then. The size of the dish is smaller, or there are fewer things inside, and the value for money is low—$20$ for a pita??
April 22 · Emanuel SayagI stopped here for dinner before seeing a show. I have a dairy allergy and since this is a kosher meat place, it’s nice to know everything is safe for me to eat.I got the eggs no steak pita, and it was really good. The pita itself is some of the best pita I’ve ever eaten! It’s so soft and pillowy, but still sturdy enough to contain its fillings. The eggs no steak had a nice blend of fresh veggies, fried egg and subtle sauce. I think some pickled onions would have taken it to the next level by adding a little acidity, but it was really good. I’ll definitely be back and try their other options.
