Choosing to dine at noda is a decision to embrace the full omakase experience. This isn't a place where you pick and choose individual items; rather, the worth of choosing noda lies in trusting the chef to guide you through a perfect culinary journey. The menu, which changes daily to reflect the hyper-seasonality of ingredients, is the main attraction. While specific dishes may vary, the general consensus from patrons is that the experience is a "symphony of flavors." Standout items from past menus have included the uni nigiri, perfectly seared wagyu beef, and the chef's take on monkfish liver, which is described as being softer and fluffier than at other places. The sake and wine pairing is consistently recommended and is considered a highlight of the meal, with each beverage served in a new, beautiful glass. The educational aspect of the experience is also highly valued, as Chef Tsunoda and his team are known for teaching guests about the meaning and process behind each course. This commitment to both the food and the guest's understanding makes noda a top recommendation for celebrating special occasions, from anniversaries to birthdays. The high price point is justified by the superlative quality of the food and the unparalleled, intimate service, making it a worthy indulgence for anyone seeking the absolute best sushi New York City has to offer.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is such a special place — you're in for a treat! We've been coming here for our anniversary for the past two years and it's wow'd us each time. There are only two seatings a day and 8 seats in the entire restaurant, so a very intimate experience. The chef and staff are chatting with you the whole time and are so knowledgeable and talented. They often research their guests as well — they knew all about my partner's work and running hobby. (I guess I was harder to find info on!)The food (as well as sake/wine pairing, which I highly recommend) is SUCH an experience. The best sushi I've had, hands down. Everything is presented so beautifully as well — each new sake and/or wine is brought in a new gorgeous glass. This is always at the top of my recommendation list for friends and family seeking the right spot to celebrate a special occasion.
April 29 · LorenA wonderful and memorable meal and night. From food to service the entire meal was excellent. The 22 courses is well balanced and perfect amount of food. And for those who enjoy omakase the experience still helps teach you more about the meaning and process behind everything chef tsunoda does. The restaurant is just as beautiful in person too. We will be back for sure.
November 17 · Stephan HerardNo words can really describe the attention to detail The Chef and the rest of the team provide. Chef is meticulous with his preparation. Hes funny and personable. Timoteo was superb and the rest of the staff. I'm not a fan of raw sushi, but this has completely changed my mind. Delish.
September 12 · Blanca JironThe best omakase experience in NYC. My husband and I love to do omakase dates in every city we visit and have been to many — we have to say this was the best. Tim and Chef are so knowledgeable and friendly they take the experience to the next level. Their wine list is one of the best we’ve seen. Highly highly recommend :)
