★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I recommend this restaurant. The food and dining experience were both excellent. I came for the beef intestine hot pot, which was rich and comforting. The pork katsu sandwich was another highlight, with crispy toast, juicy pork, and a light touch of mustard that made the flavor more complex. The fried chicken was tender and cooked to perfection, and both desserts were enjoyable. Remember to make a reservation. I just called half an hour in advance, but it is still better to let them know ahead of time.
August 09 · Sixi MaHad a great experience at Okatte Tanto NY. It's a cozy bar-style spot with amazing food — fresh, refined, and served quickly. We had oden and a few small plates, all delicious. The sake selection is extensive, and the matcha sake was especially nice. The staff were kind and approachable. It’s on the more expensive side, but well worth it for the quality and authentic late-night vibe.
July 09 · Porter CVery new experience to eat tuna! Lol all food was perfect and the draft beer was really fresh! Oh! It was the hottest day in this summer, may be that is why the place was not cool enough 🥲
August 13 · Sinclair LimExceptional quality of Japanese food. If you’re looking for high quality traditional Izakaya Japanese food with very good selection of sake, you are in the right place! The sake was transferred to another bottle that keeps the sake’s temperature cool throughout the dining experience. Every dish we ordered was perfect and super tasty and fresh. Portions are on pretty small side so recommend getting Katsu Sando that will fill you up! We sat next to the kitchen and bothered me a bit that the door kept opening and closing. Staff were very friendly and was packed on a Friday night so highly recommended to make a reservation
June 20 · M KMade a last min reservation at 5:30 on a Saturday. Had a beautiful dinner. Traditional Japanese dishes. The sake chiller they have is very cool too. Fresh ingredients.
