★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It’s amazing. Come with your laptop and the ambiance is great. Plenty of outlets too. They are so accommodating and up to front about ingredients! I had the sesame mochi ball (vegan) which was so crunchy outside and delectably chewy on the inside. The lotus filling was great and the sesame from the outer layer was definitely a good combo. The black sesame steamer was literally amazing. The milk was steamed perfectly and the black sesame flavor wasn’t strong or overpowering. It was so well balanced. Overall 10/10 I’m going to be a new regular here. Prices are typical for a NYC cafe is not cheaper for the bites.
July 27 · Hitangee JainAmazing! The vibe here is always chill and friendly, and I am crazy for anything with black sesame, so I am obsessed with both their silk and smoke latte and sesame moon cakes, but I also had their vegan bbq bun today — so good!! They are really considerate of any dietary considerations, and their food is always fantastic, plus the baristas are wonderful. Highly recommend!
September 07 · jackie hayesDiscovered this little gem thanks to ChatGPT—and it totally lived up to the tip! Paper Sons Cafe might just be the only spot in Manhattan that proudly offers heavy cream instead of half and half, and as a coffee lover who notices, that made all the difference. The café itself is super clean, modern, and welcoming. The staff was incredibly friendly and warm, making the visit even more enjoyable.Whether you’re picky about your coffee or just looking for a great neighborhood café with thoughtful service and quality ingredients, Paper Sons is a standout. Sometimes it’s the little things—like real heavy cream—that make a big impression.
July 29 · K RhodesGorgeous cafe located right on Mott St. the Earl Gray Latte with Oat Milk is one of my favorite lattes in the city, a great coffee taste with floral hints and the perfect sweetness. Warning it is $9.50. There are 5-6 tables that fill up fast, clean bathrooms and cute decorations. The baristas are so kind and make the entire cafe experience all the better
July 13 · Isabella ChowThe black sesame mooncake ($6.50) is so good. Large, thick, fullllll of black sesame paste. I will probably be a return customer just for the mooncake. They have black sesame and red bean mooncake.Staff was very friendly when taking my order.
