August 04 · Frederick BreedonChinatown classic staple. You never been to Chinatown if you haven’t dined at Wo Hop. Upstairs or downstairs, same quality of food; but the downstairs vibes are leveled up. The food here is consistent of old school Cantonese style cuisine. Some dishes can be super greasy for those unfamiliar but that’s it needs to be for the “wok hay” aka flavor. Cash only, but there’s an ATM nearby. Sucks that they close early now (10pm) because this place to used to be popping 3am-4am serving the drunk after party crowds. Can’t go wrong with any dish but definitely go with their beef chow fun, Singapore Mei fun, razor clams, chicken wings, and hot and sour soup!

Everything we tried was delicious, including steamed dumplings, fried dumplings, duck with flat noodles, and Szechuan shrimp. Water and hot tea free. Soft drinks are available for purchase. No alcohol. ATM on-site.

The walls are covered with police, fire department, and military patches, instantly giving the place a unique and local vibe. One of the coolest traditions is that guests can leave a signed dollar bill on the wall, adding a personal touch that makes the experience truly unforgettable.The food was absolutely delicious, with the meat being a real highlight—tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, making the price-quality ratio more than worth it. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and funny, creating a laid-back and enjoyable atmosphere.At first, I was a bit skeptical, wondering if this was just another overhyped spot. But from the service to the food to the overall experience, it exceeded all expectations. Without a doubt, I’ll be coming back!
