★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1New York City is full of great restaurants and each neighborhood seems to have one or two that will grab your attention. While visiting the city recently, I was walking near Bryant Park and this bistro caught my eye and I decided to try it. It turned out to be a great choice.Being part of the Refinery Hotel (in the old garment district), you can access it through the hotel main lobby. Or, you can use another entrance on 39th Street, which is fairly non-descript and almost makes you pause. However, upon entering you immediately get immersed in the very warm space, and the ambiance is well suited for a casual and cozy meet, or a business sojourn . The menu is classic American, with a wide and appetizing selection. Accompanied by some focaccia bread, I started with an outstanding Beet root Carpaccio salad with goat cheese, orange and arugula. The main course was a Branzino filet that absolutely melted in your mouth; the accompanying roasted vine tomatoes made the dish just perfect. The dessert was a delicious Churro cake with Cinnamon and vanilla ice cream and a dash of salted caramel. It was a very satisfying meal.To top it off, my server Cory was just fantastic; very courteous and embodied great customer service in every sense of the word. I am glad I gave this place a shot, and would not hesitate coming back on a future trip to the area. The food and the ambiance, especially with the old World charm of the adjacent hotel, makes it a great value; well worth a visit.
June 29 · J DWas taken here for my birthday where my husband paid extra to book a booth! Oh my gosh it was so worth it. The booths are higher up in the restaurant and very private.Inside the decor is tasteful, trendy and modern.Service was great! Has a kids menu too! My 7-year-old son loved the special booth we were in.Wine and cocktails delicious!Pork chop was divine along with the kids pasta and desserts!We had the best few hours here, felt really spoilt and would definitely return. A touch expensive but so so worth it.The manager came over to welcome us and ask if he can assist in anyway or if there is a problem to let him know and this will be resolved immediately!Only down side is the toilets are part of another building and shared.
August 02 · Mrs FosterWe had a lovely experience at Parker and Quinn while celebrating a friend’s birthday. The atmosphere was warm and stylish—perfect for a relaxed get-together. The food was well-prepared and flavorful, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. It was a great setting to catch up with friends and make special memories.One downside, however, was the restroom. It wasn’t very clean and had an unpleasant smell, which took away a bit from the overall experience. Hopefully, this is something they’ll improve, because the rest of the visit was truly enjoyable.
July 04 · Joan LI found this lovely place when I was googling and looking for a brunch place for 7 of us. It was fully booked online but I gave a try and went the place. Turns out they made a table for us! Brunch was fantastic! I ordered French toast and it was amazing. I don’t have pictures for it but avocado toast, smoked salmon on a bagels and omelet looks also great. And they even sang happy birthday song for one of our friend!Highly recommended!
August 03 · Rumi ArakawaFantastic food. Service was amazing. Ambiance was top flight. The grilled cheese and tomato soup is the best I’ve had in years. The french dip was so delicious I questioned what I was eating! I even forgot a pic of the french dip!!! You cannot go wrong here. Sunny and Gary were awesome too, in the area, come here, perfect place for great food and great times.
