December 22 · GuadalupeI rarely leave reviews but this was too shocking not to share. I have a dairy allergy and always start my order by sharing it. I asked if the entire place was dairy-free or vegan, and the cashier said yes. I said, “Even the Nutella bowl? How can Nutella be dairy free?” and he assured me with a big smile that it is. So I made the purchase, and while he was making the bowl I looked it up online out of curiosity. The internet says No this Nutella most definitely has dairy. So I ask to see the bottle he’s just poured it from. And right there on the ingredients it says Milk in bold. I assume he didn’t know and give him the benefit of the doubt, but then tell him it’s very serious to be wrong about an allergy as you could seriously hurt someone. He just kept smiling, no apology, and asked if I wanted anything else. Not trusting his knowledge at this point, I got a refund and left. Too bad, I really liked Playa Bowls, but I’ll never come back here again.
