★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The place is nice, with a relaxed atmosphere and a street-style Mexican food concept. The tacos al pastor were delicious, but the meat didn’t seem to be of great quality—it had a lot of fat. I also liked the birria tacos, though they were quite spicy (something to keep in mind if you’re not a fan of spicy food). The elote was one of my favorites—very tasty. The only thing that didn’t convince me was the guacamole: it felt overpriced for the portion size, and it had more vegetables than avocado. I was expecting something more traditional for the price
May 07 · daniel GPuya - Tacos de Puebla offers some of the best chicken and vegetarian tacos I’ve ever had. While it’s a bit on the pricey side, the quality and flavor make it worth every penny. The portions are a bit small, but the fresh ingredients and authentic taste more than make up for it. This is more of a grab-and-go spot due to limited seating, so it’s perfect for a quick, delicious meal on the go. If you’re in the mood for top-notch tacos and don’t mind paying a little extra, this place is definitely worth a visit.
October 02 · Priya ParmessarThey advertise this place as if you miss Mexican food and you’re from California to come here. This is definitely not traditional Mexican food that you can find all over California. I should’ve read the name after Puya, which is PUEBLA definitely more Southern California style. There is a spot in NYC, some San Diego owners opened a burrito place and they put french fries in a burrito and call it a burrito. Honestly, only San Diego does that. I’m not a fan of Puebla.
March 26 · Sarah LizThis was my favorite taco place in New York. The Al Pastor was on point it was tender very flavorful and juicy it was the perfect size taco tortilla. The birria taco was also very delicious. The Esquite or corn in a cup is one of the best I have tried in a very long time and it was also very unique as this is not corn that is steamed rather it is roasted over fire so I knew that it was not corn from a can.The girls at the register were very attentive and were very friendly they made it feel very homely and welcoming I definitely want to visit again whenever I go back to New York. This is a small cozy location inside of the Rockefeller center it has a small taco shop vibe but beautifully decorated place. I give it a 5 star rating for being my favorite taco place that I visited in New York. Keep up the good work.
December 17 · Noe MolinaThese tacos are amazing! I tried three of them and they were all spectacular. This is atraditional Mexican taco at its best. The carne asada taco was my favorite. Also, their homemade juices are just as good. You will not be disappointed.
