★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I went alone and sat at the bar. Spent twice as much as I was expected but got exactly what I wanted. Incredibly fresh and delicious fish, the most authentic Japanese I have ever had. Incredible quality and care into every bite. Learning the whole time about what I should dip in soy sauce. Definitely a unique experience and relaxing atmosphere I had the place to myself on a Wednesday.
January 16 · Alexander angeloffI’ve been a loyal customer here for months and often recommend this place to friends because the food is usually great. Unfortunately, after my most recent visit, I will never return.I came with two friends and our subtotal was about $140 for three plates. I tipped 25% because I felt bad arriving about an hour before closing. Despite this, the male host hassled me for more tip while I was still at the table. Feeling pressured, I added more to bring it to roughly a 27% tip. He then snatched the bill from my hand and said, “It’s okay,” in a dismissive tone. This is completely unprofessional and left me shocked. No customer should be solicited for more tip after already leaving a generous one, let alone treated rudely after complying. It’s a shame, because the food has always been good, but I won’t support a business that disrespects loyal customers like this.
August 08 · Gwendolyn FroedeFirst time and upon entering i saw a family get rejected because they had a service dog. Also, no children under 6 allowed..very strange. Onto the meal…The appetizers were nothing special. Had the tempura shrimp, fried squid and mixed seafood w/ soybean sauce. I found the squid and octupus hard and chewy. The sushi and sashimi combos on the other hand were very good and the fish was fresh. It was a bit pricy but the overall good quality.
September 16 · Oscar FilipeThis is the place if you want authentic, high quality, Japanese food. The small dishes on the separate menu are really delightful.Prices reflect food quality. Be prepared to pay for the best all around Japanese food in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. They run it like fine dining, not like a casual sushi bar. So they have strict rules around noise, noisy kids, and cell phones. Don't expect to bring your kid and set him up with an ipad with the volume on. Seems reasonable. No outside food, no exceptions. Seems reasonable. The servers were polite, no issues in this department.A real gem of a restaurant.
February 21 · Barry LinderThis is a Japanese restaurant, the price is a bit expensive but I tasted delicious fish inside, it seems to be Japanese fish taste I think it is delicious and the food is fresh I will recommend it to my friends
