Slyce Introduce
For discerning residents of the New York metropolitan area, finding a truly authentic and high-quality pizza establishment that also serves excellent traditional Italian fare is a true culinary victory. **Slyce** in Ardsley, NY, proudly fulfills this dual role, operating as both a beloved New York-style pizza restaurant and a full-service Italian dining spot. Located in the heart of Westchester County, Slyce has built on a long-standing family tradition to create a modern concept they call "GastroPizza," blending the roots of classic New York pizza with an expanded, elevated menu and a contemporary, Manhattan-style ambiance.
The restaurant offers a versatile experience, whether you are looking for a quick and satisfying slice, a family dinner centered around a classic pie, or a full sit-down meal featuring hearty Italian entrees. The atmosphere is consistently described as casual, cozy, and family-friendly, providing a welcoming spot for **Groups** and **Solo dining**. The ambiance is further enhanced by a cool bar/pizzeria setting, making it a great place to meet up with friends or simply enjoy a relaxing meal.
Slyce’s menu successfully bridges the gap between traditional pizzeria favorites and sophisticated Italian cooking. Patrons can choose from authentic **New York Style** options, including the quintessential thin-crust **NY Traditional Large** ($21.00) or specialty thick-crust pies like the **Sicilian** ($23.00) and **Grandma Sicilian** ($23.00). Simultaneously, the menu boasts a wide array of creative **Artisan Pizza** options, rich pasta dishes, and generous entrees, ensuring that every visit offers something new and exciting.
While the food quality is often praised, with one customer noting that their regular slice was "amazing" and others raving about the **Drunken Rigi** and fresh ingredients, potential customers should be aware that the restaurant is highly popular. Reviews indicate that during peak times, wait times for takeout and delivery have sometimes been inconsistent, an important factor to consider when planning a meal, especially during busy evenings. One customer specifically advised placing a detailed pickup time to ensure the best experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I ordered pizza and chicken wings over the phone on Friday. They told me the order would be ready in 35 minutes, which was around 7:00 PM. I arrived at 7:00 PM and saw they were quite busy. A guy told me to wait about 4 more minutes. Around 7:05 PM, I saw my chicken wings sitting near the counter. Then a girl told me it would be another 5 minutes—but I ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes. She apologized for the delay but also blamed me for not asking them to leave a note that the order should be ready for pickup at 7:00 PM. But they were the ones who told me it would be ready in 35 minutes in the first place.Lesson learned: I’ll make sure to tell them the exact pickup time next time.Seriously, this town needs more pizza places.
June 07 · Prepackageda few years ago i dined in with a few friends. everyone enjoyed their meal and we had a great time. a few days ago i had a $50 takeout order that consisted of a regular slice, regular fries, wings, and for dessert a bag of donuts. i was very disappointed this time around. the slice was amazing but everything else felt poorly executed. there was a long wait time which wasn’t a problem until i get home and realized i wasted $50 to stay hungry(didn’t eat much besides the slice. overall i hope this was just a one time occurrence because it is a nice, clean, family friendly establishment with a cool bar/pizzeria ambiance, it’s just unfortunate that i felt like i wasted my time and money this time around.
June 09 · Guillermo TorresNice place, they have a full and interesting menu, they also serve local beers and wine. We had their regular pie and it was very good. Would definitely visit again.
June 02 · Alfred DeSilvaThe owners, recognizing our daughter's love for pizza, provided them dough, sauce, and cheese, to make their own this evening. They routinely go above and beyond. Delicious food, great service. An asset to Ardsley.
February 28 · Kenny HermanI love pizza, and I have to say this is probably the best slice of pizza I’ve had since moving here. My daughter and I needed a quick slice of pepperoni before her play group, so we decided to go here because of the good reviews and it was on the way. The slices were huge, warm, had a nice crunch, and great cheese. The location was clean, relaxing, and had great seating. The people were very kind and attentive. Overall a great experience! We will be coming here again right before playgroup 😀
