★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Been searching everywhere for anything that can be comparable to the rice rolls I’ve had in Guangzhou and these are it. I drive from Queens just to eat the rice rolls from here. They’re super thin, soft, chewy, and have a fragrant rice taste. I’ve tried all the well known ones (west rice rolls king, joe’s , fu yuan, yin ji…etc) and none are as good as here. The ladies are friendly and food is made fresh to order.Recommend: pork w/ green onions and cilantro —can’t speak for the other meats since I haven’t tried them. The pork is well marinated and does not have any unpleasant odor like some of the other places I’ve tried.Cash only — but you can order for pickup from Fantuan if you forget to carry cash
June 22 · Monica TangMy friend said she was going to take us to buy THE BEST STEAM RICE ROLLS IN NEW YORK, the same vote among her local friends in Brooklyn. So instead of waiting in the car for her to order, I decided to check it out inside. The restaurant itself is pretty clean with limited seatings (2x4=8) since it is mostly for takeouts. Not sure if they provide delivery service but it’s only a phone call away to find out. When I stood by the cashier, I peeked at the kitchen and saw two stone mills, which are used to freshly grind rice batter to make the steam rice rolls daily. So I asked the cashier to take some pictures of the stone mills for me.When I ate the rice rolls at my friend’s house, they did taste full of fresh rice flavor that you can not easily get nowadays. My friend and her family all loved them and they order them very often. If you haven’t tried it yet, give it a try, you may come to the same conclusion as my friend, her family and her friends. In my opinion, the rice rolls did taste very authentic and so far are the best I have tried in the US.Two thumbs up!
August 30 · Angela Z-FraceI honestly think this is the best rice roll in NYC. Way better than Manhattan Chinatown or Flushing. The rice noodles are freshly made. It’s just so silky and delicate! My favorite is shrimp rice roll, and curry fish balls rice roll. I like their tea eggs too.No indoor/outdoor seating yet. Takeout only. Cash only!
December 15 · Christine ChuangThis cozy spot serves the best steam rice rolls in Brooklyn. I have been a regular since they opened in 2020 and their menu expanded... from a large selection of rice rolls to fish balls to tea eggs. The prices are on par with Chinatown rice roll spots, but it is fresh and they give generous portions and fillings so that justifies! The staff are friendly and efficient. I would recommend ordering over the phone 15 minutes in advance so you can be in and out.
June 11 · Maxine YuDelightful place for a casual bite. The rice rolls are very thin and light in texture. The ginger honey tea is GREAT and very fresh. Quick service, no frills, great food :)
