★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Stumbled here after a picnic in Central Park and saw this place had a variety of food options. We tried their Yellowtail Sashimi special which comes in a ponzu sauce so that was easily amazing. For entrees we had the Tabata ramen and Pork Katsu Curry. The ramen was super unique to me with a coconut based chicken broth, which kinda gives it a creamy light flavor that was made even more enjoyable with the hints of spicy across. The katsu curry was cooked well, tasted great, and came with pickled daikon which makes it so much better.I think this would be a 5/5 if they also had some lettuce along with some pickled jalapeños for the Katsu Curry and for the ramen, the coconut was overpowering to me in the sense that I didn’t really taste the chicken flavor and the red onions really contributed to the flavor so when I ran out it lost a bit of flavor. But these are just my personal tastes and overall, food was still very good and would definitely come back and recommend for people to try!
September 03 · SteveThis is a casual and relaxing Japanese restaurant with very fresh and impressive food and cocktails. Excellent size servings, lovely Service and soothing music. I had the best organic salmon with lots of sautéed onions, broccoli and carrots in a teriyaki sauce that was delicious. The salad was a nice fresh serving. My friends were very happy. I will definitely come back! The food is excellent!
August 25 · Robin EhrlichGot the Nabeyaki Udon and Gyuu Ramen. Both had tasty broths with the udon having a nice savory broth while the ramens were a bit sweet. Portions were great too!The young lady that took care of us was excellent and super nice.Definitely recommend if youre in the area!
August 21 · Kayohere’s the sitch, long day and i’m looking for a bowl: a big bowl - a bowl of ramen, tan tan men specifically. And this place has it. So, i make my way, one foot in front of another. Ok, I’ll preface i get there 45 mins before close on a tuesday, not an exciting time to host but alas. T cut to the chase, i get tan tan men it frankly didn’t hit the spot, and im a tan tan men GUY. The noodles themselves, great. But beyond that i mean some red onion and cilantro, some tiny piece of chicken thrown in there and the broth, there’s appears so much of it, especially against the backdrop an utter lack of toppings. Look, i’m fine without a lot of toppings, but the broth needs to be the best i’ve ever had if that’s the case.In reality, i’m scathing for the fun of it. it remains true that i’ve had better ramen, but maybe a better judge would be a bowl earlier than 9:15pm.Regards,Ethan
August 06 · Ethan DonovanDisappointed about my Tabata ramen, the broth flavored coconut milk with small pieces of chicken and noodles. I would come back to try more dishes.Good point on how this place is cleaned.
