Tack's Chinese Take Out Introduce
For New York residents on Staten Island looking for reliable, flavorful, and authentic Chinese cuisine, **Tack's Chinese Take Out** has established itself as a neighborhood cornerstone. Located centrally on Holden Boulevard, this establishment proudly operates as a dedicated **Chinese restaurant**, specializing entirely in efficient **Delivery** and **Takeout** services. It is a true reflection of the classic New York-style Chinese food spot—offering vast menu options designed for the convenience of modern city life.
The business identifies as **Asian-owned**, bringing a dedication to traditional preparations and flavors that many local users seek. The menu is extensive, offering everything from familiar favorites like **General Tso's Chicken** and **Pepper Steak w. Onion** to specialty **House Special** dishes like **Happy Family** and **Drunken Chicken**. The focus is on providing high-quality, generously portioned **Comfort food** that is suitable for a quick weeknight **Dinner** or a satisfying **Lunch** break.
The popularity of Tack's hinges on its ability to deliver piping hot meals promptly, a crucial factor in the busy New York food scene. While some customer experiences highlight occasional inconsistencies or challenges with ordering clarity, there is strong recurring praise for specific dishes and a perceived return to the high flavor standards of previous years. Loyal patrons appreciate the improved taste of classics like the spare ribs and the fresh preparation, affirming its place as a go-to spot for an American Chinese fix.
Tack's Chinese Take Out is conveniently situated at **11 Holden Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10314**. This location places it in the heart of a residential area, making it easily accessible for local pickup orders and ensuring fast delivery times to the surrounding neighborhoods on Staten Island.
As a specialized **Takeout Restaurant** with no permanent seating for dining, the focus on accessibility is geared toward smooth, quick entry and exit for customers picking up their orders or delivery drivers:
- **Wheelchair accessible entrance:** The entrance is designed to accommodate all patrons, ensuring ease of access for those using mobility aids.
- **Parking:** While the business details on parking are limited, being a local takeout spot suggests street parking or a small lot may be available nearby, typical of neighborhood business locations.

The business operates reliably during key meal times, with hours generally running from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM on most weekdays and 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM on Sundays (note that Monday hours might be inconsistent, so patrons should check for updates). - **Dietary Accommodations:** The menu specifically lists a large selection of **Vegetables** dishes and includes clear designations for **Vegan options** and **Vegetarian options**, ensuring that plant-based diets can be easily accommodated.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We came here for take out. We have been coming here for a long time.We ordered take out as there’s no seating. The person who took out order had a hard time understanding.Food was given promptly and when we brought it home , it was piping hot.We ordered chicken Lo mein, yang chow fried rice and combined platter with beef &broccoli.Chicken lo mein was not over sauces but chicken was dry.Yang chow fried rice was too salty from the last time we had it.Combination platter- beef was chewy , broccoli was cooked well. Egg roll was doughy and not the crispy type. This time , everything we had was tasting different but not for the better….
June 22 · Paka ChipsWhen I first tried the food years ago, the food was underwhelming—bland sauces, greasy dishes, and nothing memorable after a change in ownership. Now the food taste similar to the previous owners cooking. It has more flavor and the spare ribs which I originally order now taste amazing and I gained couple pounds eating the good food. Would recommend to those that like Chinese food
August 15 · Snowy ChenThis is my first time dining at this unique restaurant with my husband and daughter, and I absolutely loved it!. I'm a sucker for Chinese food, and this place really stood out to me. The wonderful, savory, delicate aroma could be smelled from the outside of the restaurant. The servers made me feel very welcome, and I enjoyed their services. The menu was stacked with different Chinese cuisines. The amount of options was mind blowing, I was quite impressed. The food there was absolutely incredible, especially the fried rice. It was so flaky and flavorful, If you're looking forward to going to this restaurant, I highly recommend ordering the chicken fried rice for starters. This is one of the very few restaurants I've given 5 stars. I usually don't give out a lot of 5 stars, since I'm very strict on reviews. If a restaurant's service and food is terrible, I write about it in my review; I'm a pretty honest person, and I'll definitely tell you if your restaurant wasn't up to my standards. This was a wonderful experience, I am one hundred percent coming back here again!
August 15 · Samantha JonesI love this places chicken mei fun it taste delicious and the flavor is out of this world. I would always order takeout from here after gym to bring home and share with my family. The price is affordable and food was made fast
August 15 · Riwoob NguyenBeen going downhill lately. Ive been.ordering here for years. Always get soup, spring roll, & veggie fried rice. Always great. However last 3x I ordered something different - 2x Seasame Noodle and 1x Veggie Chow Fun. Food was not good. Not fresh tasting. Mushy. I took one bite of Veggie Chow Fun and it was awful. There was 5 Slivers of carrots, 2 piecies of overcooked mushy broccoli, and no other veggies. The seasame noodles the same. Mushy no flavor. Ugh. It looks like its going in the same direction that Crown Palace went.So disappointing. I still feel sick from eating the Veggie Chow Fun . I guess Ill be eating Fritos and Ruffles for dinner.
April 22 · pockypore blixieI don't know who owns this right now but, ladt night was just a Small Chicken fried rice and egg roll and small brown sauce. #1 was Overpriced, came to $14#2 Was Disgusting to say the least dry chicken not fresh was saturated in Soy Sauce soil Salty couldn't eat!!!#3 Brown Sauce was just hot Soy Sauce#4 The egg roll chewy and barely anything inside.I want my $$$ back!
