We each ordered the Fiery Chicken Sandwich, and it totally exceeded our expectations.Foremostly, Tex‘s commitment to ethical sourcing is deeply commendable. Per their webpage, they partner exclusively with farmers and distributors who treat their livestock humanely from birth to slaughter. All their beef and chicken are 100% halal, never frozen, and come from animals raised on a fully grain-based diet without antibiotics, growth hormones, or artificial additives. Their meat is delivered fresh from local distributors—never frozen, always flavorful. And indeed, you absolutely taste the difference.The Fiery Chicken Sandwich was a highlight: a juicy, well-seasoned breast fillet infused with Tex’s signature hot oil, topped with crisp pickles and refreshing coleslaw, all nestled in a warm, buttered potato bun with their rich house sauce. Simply delicious. The staff were courteous and attentive, making the experience all the more pleasant.As for some concerns noted by other reviewers: the header now properly displays the store location, the pricing reflects the quality and standards of halal meat, and although the staff size may be limited, our food was ready in just 15 minutes. My first time trying Tex’s chicken and burgers and it was ok . I got a BOGO deal from uber eats. A fish sandwich and fries . The fish is an actual piece of cod and it was decent . Let’s say it tasted like a fancy filet of fish from McDonald’s 😭only the bread was I believe a brioche type bun . There was cheese on it but the tartar sauce or something I thought was, tasted like mayo . I added my own tartar sauce and hot sauce to give it a little flavor . Honestly it probably would have tasted better if I went to the store and ate it as soon as I got . Especially with fried foods I had to reheat . I mean overall it was a better alternative to most fast food chains .
