★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ THE BAGEL. LAB (2025)This deli is a true neighborhood gem and shows what food service can look like in 2025. The Korean owners are doing an excellent job of reimagining what a deli can be, bringing in fresh ideas, modern touches, and a system that makes getting meals—whether it’s a hearty sandwich or a healthy salad—easier and more enjoyable. It’s clear they’ve put effort not just into the food itself, but into creating an inviting atmosphere where people genuinely feel comfortable.A big part of that atmosphere comes from the staff. The Filipino ladies who recently joined the team are a welcome sight. Even though they’ve only been here a short time, they’ve already become a constant presence that customers appreciate. Their enthusiasm, politeness, and genuine courtesy bring a warmth that makes the deli stand out even more. It’s refreshing to see such professionalism and respect in every interaction—it enhances the food experience in ways that go beyond the plate. In a time when customers are looking for healthier options, upgrades, and service that feels both modern and personable, this deli has stepped up beautifully. It balances innovation with consistency, giving regulars and new visitors alike a reason to keep coming back.Overall, this isn’t just a place to grab food—it’s a place where respect, diligence, and a sense of care shape the experience. That combination of great food, thoughtful ownership, and dedicated staff makes this deli well worth supporting.Highly recommended.
August 22 · SERGIO MOTAWent there and tried the new Korean food for the first time and it was awesome! Tastes great and people were friendly and very helpful in helping me navigate the menu and choices available.
June 05 · TyWent in at 11:20AM and at first I and my party where welcomed but when we tried to order we where denied service and told that they where was closed.
May 24 · Juliemarie HernandezBest place for cheap decent food in Midtown, and the hot bar is excellent. A taste of old NYC, before the overpriced food halls and $20 salads. The people who run the place have been there forever and welcome you like an actual community too. A hidden gem, the classic dive deli.
April 06 · Ashley GriffinI usually never leave a negative review on Google. The male owner and Ms. Dana never wear their masks and drink their coffee while greet customers. The grill deli man serves food while not covering his face. I understand that it's been hard for the businesses during pandemic. But, seriously, I've tried several times to make them wear masks, but never worked. Also saw mice casually browse the entire store by the salad bar and the cashier's area. This matter also was reported the management. I guess they are too tired to listen carefully to the customers. To the management, if you saw this review, please revise your workplace and set a proper sanitation procedure. As a customer, I do not wish you to endanger other customers by letting the store nasty.
