Been coming here two years and this place has always been a cozy getaway for me on Sunday nights and a perfect date night spot after dinner.I’ll never forget the first day I walked in and the owner, Jason was serving me and telling me the story of how the bar received its name and was just so courteous in service.Anari, another excellent bartender. Always provides excellent service. I hadn’t been in almost a year and he still remembered who I was.Besides the homie feel of this bar by its patrons, they only serve a few cocktails, but let me say, the few that they do serve, are undisputed.I always start with the espresso martini which is one of the best in the city , then, the Saint Andrew’s. The Saint Andrew’s is more in the fruity side, but also very refreshing. It was my first time trying the mezcal marg and was good after having the Saint Andrew’s prior.Lastly, I always close my night there with a Negroni. That has to be one of the most phenomenal cocktails they have and never disappoint. If I had to pick two coattails that sum up this bar it is definitely the espresso martini and the Negroni for sure. Can not miss with either or.This is a local east village spot, but I come here every now and again and am never disappointed.Come here on a date night or to feel refreshed by one of their cocktails. Also, playlist on Monday nights is pretty cool too. - Brandon Valentin
