I spent a late Thursday night at Pleasantville Diner with some friends and was pleasantly surprised at the offerings this diner had on the menu. When you walk in you get the hometown diner feel. You see the amazing desserts in a cool display case and if you get to try some you learn they’re delicious and some of your favorites you may have had across Westchester or in Stamford. We had a server who was super friendly and helpful. He even gave us some of the history of the diner which made it a great experience as you piece the puzzle together of the great diners you’ve already been to and learning Pleasantville Diner is apart of this family of restaurants. They even have their episode of Diners Drive-Ins & Dives running on the TV while you dine. Nonetheless, it was pretty cool. Pictures are some of the recommendations from the server which were legit all 10/10. You’ll see the French Onion soup, Shrimp Scampi, Mac & Cheese Bites, Mild Wings, Roxanne’s Grilled Cheese & Carrot Cake. The show stopper for me was that grilled cheese. It was a dinner special and after reading others, I wished I was more hungry to try another. I can’t explain it, just order this sandwich and you’ll find it’s great comfort food. After the main meal, the carrot cake was a big compliment to the end of our meal. All in all, I’m gonna go back and try more of their specials and shout out our server cause he was awesome, food was spot on and the environment was nostalgic/classic.

I usually do not eat in diners as I find the food sub-par. Pleasantville Diner has proven me wrong. Ordered chicken gyros. Very generous portion very fresh, food was not over cooked , well presented, delicious. French fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Tahini dressing was so good that we requested a pint to take home. Wait staff was very attentive. Great place to eat before or after the movies at Jacob Burns. I will definitely go again when I am in pleasantville

Very nice value for money. Food was tasety from the chicken soup to the main course salads and steak. Service was friendly and W/C were clean. .. we stopped on the way by mistake and it was a great suprise!
