The Press Lounge offers a variety of services to enhance the guest experience, from flexible dining options to event hosting.
Outdoor Seating: The most prominent feature is the extensive outdoor seating on the rooftop, which provides an incredible setting for enjoying the city views. This is the main highlight and what draws most visitors to the venue.
Dine-in: The lounge offers a full dine-in experience with table service, allowing guests to sit back and relax while enjoying a wide selection of cocktails, wines, and small plates.
Reservations: The Press Lounge accepts reservations, which are highly recommended due to the high demand for its scenic tables. Catering: For special events and parties, the Press Lounge provides catering services. This is an ideal option for corporate gatherings, celebrations, or private events where a stunning location and excellent food and drinks are a must.
Takeout and Delivery: While the primary experience is a dine-in one, the lounge also offers curbside pickup and delivery services, which may be more limited and primarily for special events or for a focused food menu. Choosing the Press Lounge is an excellent decision for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining and social experience that is quintessentially New York. The most compelling reason to visit is, without a doubt, the unparalleled **rooftop setting**. The panoramic views of the city are a spectacle in themselves, providing a breathtaking backdrop that no ground-level venue can replicate. This makes it the perfect place for a special occasion, a romantic date, or for impressing out-of-town guests with an iconic view of Manhattan. The experience is not just about the food or drink; it's about the entire elevated atmosphere.
Beyond the view, the quality of the offerings makes it a truly worthwhile destination. The bar menu is exceptionally comprehensive, a connoisseur's dream with an array of premium spirits, including rare scotches, Japanese whiskeys, and a full range of mezcals and tequilas. The cocktails are inventive and delicious, and the wine and beer lists are carefully selected. While the food menu is more focused on small plates, these selections are crafted to pair perfectly with the drinks, allowing for a refined yet relaxed dining experience. The availability of **late-night food** is also a major plus for those seeking a bite after a show or during a late evening out.
Lastly, the lounge's commitment to creating a welcoming and sophisticated environment is a key reason to choose it. Despite its luxury branding, it is a **family-friendly** and **transgender-safe space**, which speaks to a modern, inclusive approach to hospitality. While some customer feedback highlights the need for a more flexible reservation and entry policy, the core of the experience—the stunning views, high-quality drinks, and overall trending atmosphere—remains a major draw. For a night that feels both special and distinctly New York, the Press Lounge is a destination that delivers on its promise of an unforgettable evening.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This establishment has changed ownership and is no longer Press Lounge. Unfortunately, the hostess, Ebony, provided ultimate subpar service. After a $250+ expenditure, her unprofessional demeanor and lack of floor management skills were evident. I would advise patrons to exercise caution. To management, I suggest retraining Ebony or reconsidering her role to improve customer experience.
August 04 · SPSuch a beautiful rooftop, however their reservation system makes no sense. I have been here many times and I know it’s always empty. Hence, why the need for a reservation?I get it. The allure of exclusivity and maybe table organization? But, it is a rooftop. At least, offer walks ins to wait if a “reservation” does not come in.Still recommend to go, because of the view🎀🥳-However, hoping management reads this and understands they are losing $$$$$.If you are going, PLEASE make a reservation, have valid ID and follow their clothes policy. Took a picture of their reservation link, but you can also go to their website directly.
July 25 · KarenThe view is the only thing worth mentioning, and yeah it is nice, but everything else just didn’t hold up. Drinks were expensive and honestly pretty weak, service felt uninterested, and the whole vibe leaned more toward stiff than welcoming. It’s the kind of spot you check out once for the skyline photos but not somewhere you’d want to come back to. Two stars feels right.
September 07 · John CooperI had a delightful evening here watching the sunset fall over the river and the city. I'd written ahead that this was a special occasion for my friend and the staff were so attentive and took great care of us. Perfect experience!
September 15 · Erin R.We really enjoyed this place. We visited as guests from Toronto. The view of the city was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We were especially pleased with the service provided by Sofi and very happy with the host, Ebony.
