Customers can start their day with a hearty Breakfast, enjoy a relaxed Lunch, or indulge in a highly recommended Brunch on Sundays, which often includes a variety of delicious options and features like bottomless mimosas. The dinner service, available Thursday through Saturday, is particularly popular, offering a more romantic and upscale atmosphere perfect for a date night or celebratory gathering. The restaurant is also known for its specialty nights, such as the Thursday Night Prime Rib and Wine Special.
The ambience of the space is a major highlight, described as a unique combination of Historic and Trendy. The post and beam construction of the building creates a cozy and charming farmhouse aesthetic, while the full transformation of the Tilly Foster Farm into a premier destination adds a layer of rustic elegance. The venue is also renowned as a spectacular event space, particularly for weddings, with the newly renovated barn and beautiful outdoor grounds providing a stunning backdrop.
While the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive—especially concerning the beautiful venue and professional staff for events—it is worth noting feedback regarding general dining service. Some customers have reported difficulty getting through by phone to make reservations for a la carte dining, and a review of a concert night mentioned having to eat at the bar as a result. Additionally, while the food is generally good, some dishes have received mixed feedback, such as scallops being "drenched in butter" and wings having an unwelcome batter, while other items like the beet salad were deemed "excellent."

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1As life long Hudson Valley locals we have always known about Tillys Foster Farm, we decided to get married here on August 2nd 2025 and had truly the best day ever. From the beginning Maegan was amazing to work with. She was clam, answered our questions- and was genuinely excited for us. She even set up our DIY decor. When the day of came, we worked with Colleen and Nick and they were just as incredible. They ensured our day ran smoothly and that we had everything we needed. We took our photos on the beautiful property, and they came out stunning. There is no shortage of outdoor spots for pictures. Especially if you're looking to capture the true beauty that is this genuine working farm and open outdoor space. Our ceremony was outside in the field and was absolutely flawless. To make my entrance as the bride a surprise I was driven up in a little golf cart with my dad and it was so fun and special. Our cocktail hour was in the restaurant - the food was delicious and the bar and staff were attentivene, kind and fun. The reception was in the barn with again delicious food, incredible staff and the most beautiful space. We had about 120 people and it was perfect. I can't recommend Tillys enough for your big day.
August 09 · RileyAttended a concert at Tilly's Table. I called REPEATEDLY trying to make a reservation but nobody ever answered the phones. Arrived and had to eat at the bar. Food was good. Wings had a batter on them which brought down the experience. Scallops were drenched in butter. Bar service was very good. Prices were good. Beet salad was excellent.
October 14 · Anthony DelVecchioThis place is beautiful, and the service was exceptional. However, it’s not truly ‘farm-to-table’ in the way you’d experience at the Rockefeller Estate. The ‘market price’ menu for roasted chicken feels odd—MP is usually reserved for 3lb lobsters. Parking is sensational when there’s no major event going on, and I love how pulling in gives off a ‘Yellowstone’ vibe. All in all, it’s absolutely worth a visit. I’d rate it 4.5 stars, but I’m holding back on handing out too many 5-star reviews these days. LOL!But on a serious note - charging for each coffee and seltzer refill is tasteless. That sort of nickel and dime’n doesn’t bring people back. Just a little FYI to the team.
January 11 · Harry OttoOne of the best restaurants in the Hudson Valley. The atmosphere inside is beautiful and the waitstaff is so friendly. The waitresses, bussers, and food runners are always the same each and every weekend we go, and each still is so friendly, knowledgeable, and has wonderful energy as they talk to not just us, but I’ve noticed the other people dining, too. It’s quite refreshing.I always love looking out the windows and enjoying the views of the farmland, animals, and more as I dine. No matter where you sit, you should still be able to get a glimpse out the windows. If you’re a party of two, you get sat along the windows—which I am normally—and truly enjoy my experience so much more because of it. Quite calming to see the horses, if you ask me. Honestly, this and the food is possibly why it’s my fav!Making a reservation is easy, you can do it online though Open Table (when you press to make a reservation on their website, it should send you there). Just make sure to do it well in advance, as this place fills up quite fast. On non-busy weekends, we have gotten last minute tables, but during the busy season, holidays, and summer (because of outdoor seating and the gorgeous views), it’s more difficult! They have a huge gravel parking lot. It’s only a 1-3 minute walk to the entrance, depending on how far back you park. On busy weekends, and especially if someone is having a party, wedding, etc, the parking lot does fill up, but there’s a lot of space to even make more rows. I recommend getting there a few minutes early just to ensure you find a parking spot you’re comfortable with! We’ve never had any issues finding a spot, just sometimes it’ll be alllll the way in the back—even a few times on the grass! But that goes to show just how great and popular this place is.My boyfriend, his family, and I all love Kayleigh (apologies if spelt incorrectly). She’s a true sweetheart who cares so deeply about the people she’s serving! We’ve come so many times that she knows our drinks, starters, and entrees from the start! She works hard, so make sure you tip her good!! 😆Food wise, it’s always such a treat. Each time I go, we always get the giant hot pretzel and fried calamari to start. If I could have the pretzel everyday, I seriously would. It’s the best pretzel I’ve ever had!!! For entree’s, I highly recommend the Rughetta salad, chicken Milanese, Kobe beef burger, filet mignon, penne vodka, homemade Mac and cheese, and so much more!! These are all things I’ve personally tried and have loved. However, my go-to tends to be the rughetta salad (I’d swim in the dressing and tomatoes) just because I always fill up on the calamari and pretzel (it is GIANT)!!They also have a bar. I haven’t sat at it, but it seems lively on the weekend and people seem to enjoy it! The drinks I get (typically coke/pepsi) are always good. The bussers offer pitchers of water for the table in glass vases (in farm to table style) which is nice, or they fill up your glasses as the evening goes on.Cleanliness wise, everything is clean, smells good, organized, not dusty, no water spots on the cutlery/plates, no leftover food on dishes, etc. The bathrooms (located right behind the bar), are always clean and well-kept.Only negative? This place isn’t open m-w, and isn’t open for dinner on Sundays! I’m sure there’s a reason, after all it is a farm, they host events, and more, but I love this place so much and sometimes I just am not available th-sa for dinner, and too busy for lunch on Sunday. But, it makes coming here that much more special knowing that they’re only open a few short days, so make the experience—the pretzel—count!Overall, can’t stress enough how much I loveeeeeee this place! If you’ve read this far, I hope you found it helpful.
June 24 · Paige FerrierTilly's table is a cozy rustic restaurant situated on a farm which I was told is owned and operated by Putnam County. Location is conveniently located within a couple miles from Interstate 84. We had dinner and ordered the crispy calamari with homemade marinara sauce for appetizer and linguini with manilla clams in a white wine and garlic sauce. The service and food were outstanding. Portions are large enough to share and absolutely delicious. Major compliments to the Chef. There are signs posted on the farm that pets are not allowed but we were allowed to bring our dog and sit at a high-top table in bar area of the restaurant which is a major plus for us. Thank you for being a dog friendly establishment and supporting the growing trend of dog lovers. We will definitely be back to visit soon.
