★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very nice late night dinner restaurant! The ambiance is on point. Is romantic, private, you can hear and see everyone having a good time eating. The customer service is on point, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The ramens are good but a little average and little too salty. The mango shaved ice is delicious, its a great summer snack. The dumplings are a little too small. Overall I will like to come back.
July 17 · David CabanzoTONCHIN has 2 locations in NYC. But they got the different menu, and the interior design is totally different. We often go to Manhattan’s, when we get a chance to go to Brooklyn, we’ll go to TONCHIN. They have the best ramen in NYC and the also the appetizers! Don’t forget to order some bao because they are SO delicious as well! La The food here is very similar to Japan, which is why we like to come back again! The atmosphere is warm and dim lighting design style is cool. You can see many Japanese elements added to interior design which are very special. It would be more enjoyable if the service staff could be more friendly.
June 01 · CJL - GThis was my second time here and it was just as good! The mango kakigori is way better than the strawberry — super refreshing. I also had the dipping noodles, which were really good when they’re hot, but not as great once they get cold. The service was nice and the place has a cozy, chill vibe. Still one of my favorite ramen spots in Brooklyn!
June 16 · Elzeria SalimSolid spot for ramen, got the king oyster mushroom kimchi, Chashu pork onigiri, tantan ramen. Onigiri was more like an open hand roll, messy but very good. Ramen could have been a bit spicier with more umami but nice texture and toppings. Nice decor, recommend for nighttime since it’s a dark space inside.
September 02 · Maria YuThis was a spur-of-the-moment find. We went on a holiday mid-afternoon so it was not crowded at all. The noodle was firm and wavy just how I like it. The soup was not salty like most ramen. The decor is modern and classy, the service was also good. We sat at the table chatting for a while after having paid and nobody bothered us which was very nice and much appreciated.
