In a city overflowing with food options, Troy Bakery stands out for a few critical reasons that make it a compelling choice for any New Yorker. First and foremost is the fusion of authentic European baking with strict local requirements. The 'french stile' pastries—the buttery croissants, the sweet and savory tarts, and the perfectly crafted danishes—are a rarity to find executed so well while being strictly Kosher Cholov Yisroel. This duality is the bakery’s defining strength, allowing a broad customer base to enjoy world-class baking.
Secondly, the bakery offers unparalleled variety under a single roof. You can come in for a quick, energizing breakfast with a perfect cup of coffee, grab a hearty lox croissant sandwich or a flavorful Cremini / Porcini quiche for lunch, or take home a loaf of freshly baked Pareve sourdough bread. The menu offers both the everyday comfort of staple breads and the luxurious indulgence of fine European pastries. The clear distinction between dairy (Milchik) and non-dairy (Pareve) baked goods further solidifies its commitment to the local kosher market, building a high level of trust and repeat business.
Finally, choosing Troy Bakery means choosing convenience and quality assurance. The central Brooklyn location, easy payment options, and focus on 'Quick visit' planning make it an effortless stop in a busy schedule. The positive reviews from the community, highlighting both the quality of the food and the pleasant service, act as a solid endorsement. For a New Yorker looking for an exceptional, certified-kosher bakery experience where the products are authentic, the menu is diverse, and the service is welcoming, Troy Bakery on Troy Avenue is the definitive neighborhood choice.
Whether you're a local resident or just passing through the Crown Heights area, stopping at Troy Bakery for a perfect piece of pastry or an excellent cup of coffee is a decision you will be glad you made. It truly brings a slice of European excellence, responsibly crafted for the heart of Brooklyn.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1When Patis opened a location near me in Crown Heights I got really excited, I loved the one in NJ! I went a few time but their selection wasn’t quite the same as their NJ one and I was disappointed. However, I went again today and they had so many delicious items. I tried out 4 of them with my friend on our lunch break and omg were we happy. This pastrami lox croissant really hit the spot! We also got the Cremini / Porcini round quiche (in savory section on the menu) with cheese and it was so tasty that I took one to go for my husband.View more on Instagram @kosherfoodworld

March 22 · Shlomo LeviThis is probably the best bakery in Brooklyn. Their sourdough, croissants, pastries, sandwiches, coffee and everything else is delicious.
September 13 · TJ KravitzMy friend got a banana mango smoothie. Rly like it good price
January 15 · Ur MomI was checking out the bbq place next door and saw this bakery. So I decided to give it a try. I went in around 5p on memorial day and the options were very slim. Even though it looks like they usually close at 7. I ordered a ginger molasses cookie and a strawberry and cheese croissant. The cookie was good though pretty tough to chew and not as sweet as I would have liked. The croissant was so stale it wasn't edible. Which was really disappointing because it was the dessert I was most looking forward to. For $7 this wasn't worth it. Many others have given it good reviews. I would say don't go at the end of the day for baked goods.
