Yummy Stick Introduce
In the bustling heart of New York City, where time is a precious commodity and delicious, affordable food can feel like a rare find, Yummy Stick stands out as a true gem. This takeout-focused restaurant has carved out a unique niche for itself, specializing in an exciting fusion of flavors that delivers a fresh take on Asian cuisine. Tucked away on West 17th Street, Yummy Stick has quickly become a local favorite for those seeking a quick, satisfying, and healthy meal on the go. Whether you're a busy professional grabbing a lunch break, a college student looking for an affordable yet flavorful meal, or simply a resident exploring the Chelsea neighborhood, Yummy Stick offers a perfect solution for your hunger without compromising on taste or quality.
The concept of Yummy Stick is built around convenience and flavor. Instead of traditional sit-down dining, the focus is entirely on a streamlined takeout experience, which is perfectly suited to the fast-paced New York lifestyle. This approach allows them to serve a steady stream of customers efficiently, ensuring that even during peak lunch hours, you get your food quickly. The menu, while concise, is thoughtfully curated, blending elements of Japanese and Korean cuisine with a modern twist. The star of the show is undoubtedly their "Yummy Stick" – a creative and portable take on the sushi burrito that packs a punch of flavor in every bite. It’s a brilliant idea for a city where many meals are enjoyed on the move. Beyond the innovative menu, the restaurant is known for its friendly service and the care put into each order, making every visit a pleasant experience. It’s the kind of place that feels like a well-kept secret among locals, a spot you're happy to share with friends but also want to keep all to yourself.

The focus here is on the quality of the food and the efficiency of the service, not on a fancy dining room. This no-frills approach is part of its charm and allows them to keep their prices remarkably affordable, a significant plus for anyone looking to stretch their dollar in one of the most expensive cities in the world. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The owners are super nice, I got the classic yummy stick and the shumai (shrimp dumplings.) I got a sauce for each and the lady put a label on the one for the dumplings, so I don’t mix them up. I wish they would be open one the weekends too, but I was really satisfied I finally got to eat lunch here.
June 17 · Boglárka SassDon't let the strange location scare you off. This hole-in-the-wall restaurant offers classic and comforting food at a very, very affordable price. Their food is easily portable, the employees are kind and efficient, and although there is a bit of a wait, it is only due to the 5 to 10 + people who are also waiting for their food. A wonderful choice if you're looking for some easy eating and comforting Asian food.
June 27 · Olive SkorpenskeI love this place! This small take out only restaurant is fast, friendly, delicious and very affordable! The husband and wife team have it streamlined. I only wish they were opened more days and more hours as they only cater to a M -F lunch crowd and school children.
September 06 · S KathyThis spot is such a gem. Affordable, quick, friendly service, and delicious food! Highly recommend the spam & avocado w spicy mayo. Minimum $8 for cc!
May 30 · RudiaA great spot to get a quick bite to eat! No seating or dine in as they are a small store front. Menu is simple so you won't get too overwhelmed. My favorite is the original and spicy salmon. The staff are super nice and efficient! The place does get crowded at lunch time depending on the day but I can usually get in and out withing 10-15 mins. You can pay card but there is a minimum.
