This is usually my go to sushi spot for takeout. Today the sushi tasted different but the main thing was finding egg shells stuck underneath the batter of my rock shrimp. It’s sad I won’t be ordering from them again, I liked them.

I’ve been getting sushi from Umi Sushi for many years, and I can confidently say they’re among the best in Brooklyn — maybe even in all of NYC. The quality is always excellent, the rolls are fresh and delicious, and the service is consistently great.If you’re a sushi lover, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended!

I like the food they make. Sushi tastes fresh, waiters are polite. The place is small but cozy. I would prefer eating there than ordering a delivery, because in deliveries they give very little sauce and charge you for extra. Plus, you have to check the receipt closely, if ordering through the phone - I was overcharged 2 times. None of this is a problem if you dining in, they offer very nice service, good people.

This is a great sushi place in Brighton Beach. They have lunch specials and a very reasonable sushi and entrée menu.It can get busy inside at times, so a lot of people order carryout instead.Staff are busy and always running around, but welcoming and can give good suggestions.
