After reviewing other orders, seems as though they charged me for two sandwiches instead of one despite reiterating my order 3 times. If they took a moment to pay attention to their customers instead of keeping their back turned maybe this wouldn’t have happened. Glad I am not in area to return as there are plenty of other Deli’s with quality that take the time to pay attention. Would’ve said something but was on a time crunch and it had already taken them 20 minutes. The sandwich was good but not worth $28.

It made me despise my roadtrip buddies (my brothers) a bit less!! 😂 also, the guy with the brown curly hair and blue eyes - didn’t catch his name sadly :/ - was very kind, patient, and helpful when it came to choosing my order. Always wanted to try this place, so decided to go in today. Never again!!! Stay away. I’m surprised they’re in business all these years. Having an entire family successfully in the food business, this place is not worth it. Ordered egg and cheese on a bagel with coffee, $11.89!!!!!!!!! Are they kidding!!’ Bagel was hard and not fresh. Couldn’t find the cheese and the coffee only one type (plain coffee and not good quality, over $4.00 for a large).Village Bagels in Westport is off the charts!!! Everything is fresh and prices are nowhere near this. They charge you a La carte. Separate for everything. They charged me for and egg and cheese sandwich then tacked on the bagel cost. Menus are on the wall with NO prices!!! Now I know why. I’m going to tell everyone about this place and to stay away.

Been coming here for a few years so I decided to finally post a review. A nice little deli on Darien's Post road it is an excellent place to grab a sandwich.They are quite accommodating for special requests for food and the can get everything ready pretty quickly.I ordered the Uncle's Famous Steak & Cheese which was jam packed with meat and each bit was perfect. A very filling sandwich.The Chicken Cutlet sandwich was brilliant as well, ordered it with a buttered roll with a lot of pickles. Better than some other chicken sandwiches out there!Do yourselves a favor and try Uncle's Deli out!
