★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Really enjoyed lunch at Rangoon - we ordered the tea leaf salad (my all time favorite, it's got so much crunch & it's great), the ginger beef skewer (small but packs flavor), the shrimp skewers (crispy, whole body shrimps), and the garlic noodles (light and tasty). The garlic noodles are a more subtle flavor, and while it comes with a side of Sriracha, I actually really liked the noodles with the green sauce that came with the skewers. The inside has many tables and the decor is a kind of charming, modern take on a retro diner. Very clean as well.
April 21 · Laurel ClareThe skewers and fried chicken were delicious, especially with the sauces. The ramen was quite interesting, but the crispy chicken didn’t hold up well. The lamb was tasty, but the tapioca dessert was not my cup of tea. Overall, I recommend this place for trying different cuisines with a variety of flavors.
May 14 · Gökay ZerenWent here for brunch on a Sunday with my girlfriend. Ambience was warm and pleasant, service was friendly. We had the bottomless brunch with delicious mimosas - esp the passion fruit & tamarind stood out! Food was delicious, good flavors and portions. We had the disco fries, tacos and the chicken curry with turmeric rice. Would love to go back & try some of the other things from the menu.
March 15 · Saira SethiMy first foray into Burmese food, which I thoroughly enjoyed! I ordered the chicken curry noodle soup, which kind of felt like a lighter laksa/Khao Soi. I appreciated that the noodles soaked up the soup’s flavor, which made every bite extra delicious. We also ordered the disco fries (fried potato crisps) to share, which everyone at the table enjoyed.
June 11 · Zachary ZhuI absolutely LOVE Rangoon! I live in the area and frequent this restaurant often. I crave the flavors of these dishes all the time and there’s no where else to get it! So fresh and delicious, it is one of Chelsea’s best food gems. I’m vegetarian, and often come with friends who eat meat, and there’s something delicious for all of us. I came recently right when they opened so took the opportunity to take photos of the different spaces, all are so cute and quaint. Aside from the main dining area which features a big window on each end, there is a more intimate dining area downstairs, as well as a backyard dining area used for special events. My favorite dish is the Cold Tamarind Salad, along with the fritters and tea salad. Anything you get here you will love, I promise! And on certain days they have specials :) Great place to meet a friend or go on a date. Great service always, and I cannot stress how FRESH the food is!
