One must-try dish is the **Raddiatore Cartoccio**. This signature pasta dish, where radiator-shaped pasta is baked in a tinfoil bag with porcini mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, breadcrumbs, and shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano, is an inventive and flavorful experience often highlighted by reviewers as "scrumptious." Beyond the pasta, the wood-fired pizzas, especially the classic Margherita, are considered some of the best of the Salerno-style in the tri-state area, featuring a perfectly charred, doughy, yet crunchy crust. For meat lovers, dishes like the radiator pasta with short rib or the various chicken and veal entrees, such as the Pollo Capricciosa (chicken cutlet topped with marinated tomatoes, melted mozzarella, and pesto), are consistently praised.
The appetizers are also a highlight, including the much-loved **Polpettine, Polenta & Caprino** (meatballs with polenta and goat cheese) and the fresh calamari, which make for perfect shared starters. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This restaurant is FANTASTIC! The food is exceptional, service is very attentive. Definitely in the top 3 best Italian restaurants we’ve ever visited. We had the meatball and polenta appetizer, radiator pasta with short rib, chicken with mozzarella/tomatoes/arugula/pesto, and the tiramisu… all were delicious!
May 03 · Cheryl FladungJuly 2025:This time around we tried calamari in addition to fettuccine Alfredo as app. Halibut special this time around was definitely better and more creamy than last time.Dec 2024Totally recommend this place. We started off with fettuccine with truffles and calamari. I loved the days special, halibut entree. It was amazing. We tried bunch off desserts. Bomba was only one that was outstanding. Tiramisu was ok. Chocolate cake and panna cotta must have been ones to skip. They do have plenty of parking in the back.
August 22 · Venkata KFood was incredible. Above expectations. An interesting star was the grilled octopus appetizer. I had the swordfish special, my brother had the seasonal ravioli, my mother the strip steak and my dad a chicken dish. We also got a margarita pizza which was a classic hit. Highly recommend for great Italian food.
August 16 · Matthew BrandAbove-average Italian restaurant in a high-property tax area. It has its own parking lot and a nice bar.The radiatori in cartoccio was amazing; wish they had the option to add some protein to it. The seafood risotto was a little fishy, skip. The gamberi fagioli (white beans and shrimp apps) had a very balanced flavor. And the calamari was just okay. We don’t have a chance to try their pizza. The service was good and quick. Its decor has a clean suburban feeling. A good place to have a meal locally.
February 15 · CarlChicken Scarpariello was billed as dark meat bone in. It was tasty but I was served 3 chicken drum sticks, 4 slices of sausage with a small portion of potatoes, diced sweet red and green peppers in brown sauce. Party of 4. Spent hundreds. 1st time I was disappointed there. I called later. They didn’t seem to care. Won’t return. Sad.
August 16 · Stan MolinskiI just had the most amazing time here at Zero Otto Nove. We had their special creamy parmesan pasta which was finger-licking along with the delish mushroom mozzarella pizza. I loved this place felt like I was sitting in Italy having an authentic Italian food.
