★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I ordered two items here thinking I’d need both to fill my stomach, but the portion sizes were actually quite generous. I got the lamb over rice and the chicken gyro, and I have to say, the food was really good. Maybe it was because my expectations were low eating on a NYC street, but I genuinely enjoyed it. The person making the food was very kind, which made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this spot.
June 14 · Purav PatelThe food was hot and fresh, the lamb and chicken wasn't greasy, the rice was perfectly flavored with just the right amount of heat and spice, the salad was crisp and fresh. The portion size was perfect. Too many places are skimping out these days, not these guys!
December 07 · Jason Friedmanthe owner of the truck, an older gentleman is always nice, trustworthy, and gives me fries 🤩.BUT, the younger looking guy (who I can only assume is the owners son) CONSISTENTLY SCAMS ME.I keep giving him chances and 5/5 times he upcharges me..back when the platter was only $8/9, I'd almost always hand him 20's and he'd hand me a $10 back; no big deal but like... come on..and literally just now I asked for an Arizona (16oz bottle) with my lamb over rice and bro says $5, I decline because holy hell. he then says $4, just for you, I decline again.he then gets the owner who says $2, so I'm thinking "what the hell, sure".I hand the younger one my $20 bill, and he gives me a $5 bill as change..tldr; good food but avoid if the younger one is manning the truck. 😭😭😭

July 01 · Mike MatuteIf you haven’t tried this Halal Food, maybe it’s time to give it a try!Our Chicken over rice is a 5 Stars! The rice is not bland, it has smooth hint of spice and good combinations with everything in the plate. The chicken itself is juicy and tasteful, you can taste the spice in every bite and all bites are plate licking delicious, especially if you add the white sauce and the red sauce, yuuum 😋😋!The red sauce is kicking at the corner of your bite, it’s surprisingly spicy and good! What’s missing is the pita bread to clean th rest of the leftovers sauce!
