Asian fusion restaurant, Tapas bar ★4.0 (154)·$10–20

212 E 9th St, New York, NY 10003, USA

4.0
This place seemed budget friendly on paper but it was a different story when the bill came. There is an 18% gratuity added for parties of 2 or more. On top of that, card fees were added to each item and to the total. For example, the menu said cocktails were $8 but the bill listed $8.35. When I asked the server to explain the itemized card taxes, he got irritated and kept directing me to read the sign on the wall about the card taxes, which was not a sufficient explanation. There is also a 1 hour time limit. Additionally, the drinks were watered down and very weak. There are much better happy hours out there. - Shaunda Johnson
