★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The food here is great! Mei was also amazing - even though our grill malfunctioned, she saved the day by helping us sear our meat with a torch so that we could still enjoy it. Would highly recommend the assorted beef and the assorted offal, both are great values. Also, the scallion rice is a must-try!
August 22 · JordanProbably the best asian bbq I've had in the city tbh. The meats in the premium set were varied and all were really good. I thought the meat wouldn't be enough for two people at first, but it was definitely a good amount of food. They also offered to switch out the beef tartare that comes with the set when we told them we didn't like tartare, so they gave us wagyu prime rib instead (also really good). Plus points for the pretty spread. Would definitely come back!
September 05 · Rory Leeおいしい!! An authentic focus on quality and service only found in the best Japanese restaurants. The staff not only serves amazing food but helped us practice our日本語. Chef Kojima-San welcomed everyone and says goodbye with warmth. A really amazing example of Japanese hospitality. Loved our visit!!
July 01 · RobertoWe visited NYC on Labor Day weekend and wanted to give this place a try since it’s rated 4.9 on Google Map. So glad we went there for dinner and had a wonderful Japanese style BBQ experience. The quality of meat is top notch and tastes exactly like we had in Kyoto few years ago. The service is kind and attentive. Definitely a thumbs up for this great BBQ place! Hope we have a high quality Japanese BBQ restaurant in the Bay Area as well. Please come! We need Yakiniku Gen here!My favorite: beef tongue shio, premium outside skirt(harami), premium waygu, jo kalbi, diamond cut chuck rib.
September 14 · TingtingCan here during lunch hour, ordered their lunch menu. Came with Japanese wagyu and assorted beef, rice and soup, dessert (mochi ice cream) and tea at the end! Super affordable! The environment is clean and cozy, not packed at all, different vibe from their 5th ave store. Great service as well, sever was very kind and friendly! Before we left, they handed us a coupon for our next visit, and also found out they have a sister store next door for sukiyaki, definitely coming back to try it out 😋
