tofutikka masala
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great ambience and amazing staff, very kind and attentive. Variety of vegan options. The food was amazing, pretty spicy if you’re not used to it, tasty and everything nice. Glad to be staying close to this place cuz ill be coming back!
August 04 · Juliette WhittingslowThey gave me raita made of dairy yogurt. I was also not sure whether the tofu was indeed tofu or paneer.I couldn't eat the other dishes I had ordered as now I wasn't sure if the food was vegan or not.BTW, this is not a vegan restaurant. They have created an online vegan profile for an existing non-vegan restaurant. They just have some vegan options but the kitchen is the same and it doesn't seem like their staff are trained well enough about what vegan cuisine is.
January 04 · DiaI passed by and saw they have a buffet on the weekends for ~$20. I came back the next day to try it. I enjoyed my experience. My top dishes were the chili fish, the tikka masala sauce, and the rice pudding dessert. I was the first person to sit in the dining room and I was happy to see that the place steadily filled up. I saw that the waitress had good rapport with the regulars. I’ll definitely be back another weekend.
December 03 · j17schisour go-to neighbourhood spot. Hands down the best tofu tikka masala in NYC (I’ve tried many!!) Perfect spot for vegan comfort food.
December 10 · Regan PlekenpolShould not put vegan in their name if they are not fully vegan - misleading!
