All’antico Vinaio Introduce
In a city celebrated for its diverse culinary scene, few places have generated as much excitement and anticipation as All’antico Vinaio. Hailing from the streets of Florence, Italy, where it has long been a global sensation, this authentic sandwich shop has brought its world-famous concept to the heart of New York City. Located at 7 West 25th Street, this establishment has quickly become a must-visit destination for anyone craving a taste of genuine Italian street food. The experience here is built around the "schiacciata," a type of focaccia bread that is soft, flavorful, and serves as the perfect vessel for a remarkable combination of high-quality, imported meats, cheeses, and spreads. The atmosphere at All’antico Vinaio is decidedly casual, staying true to its Italian roots as a place where you can grab an incredible, no-fuss meal on the go. Its popularity for lunch and solo dining speaks to its efficiency and the simple pleasure of enjoying a perfectly crafted sandwich. While some may find the pricing to be on the higher end for a sandwich, many customers find the cost to be completely justified by the generous portions and the exceptional quality of the ingredients, which are often imported directly from Italy. The sandwiches are famously huge, with some customers suggesting they are large enough to share, which can make them a great value. Although one customer unfortunately reported finding twine in their sandwich, a highly unusual and isolated incident, the same individual did note that "the flavor was good," a testament to the core quality of the food. The overall consensus from patrons is overwhelmingly positive, with many describing the sandwiches as "very fresh and tasty" and an experience that is truly worth having. All’antico Vinaio is not just a sandwich shop; it's a piece of Italian culture delivered directly to the streets of New York, offering a truly unique and delicious experience that captures the essence of its storied past.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The Odd Couple sandwich had string/twine ground up with the meat. At first I thought it was connective tissue, but the more I chewed the more synthetic it felt and it wasn’t breaking down. I spit it out and took a closer look and it was actually twine… It’s unfortunate, the flavor was good but I couldn’t enjoy eating the rest of it, each bite I took I was worried I’d eat more twine (and there was more).
August 02 · Kristine ZhangWe enjoyed our foccaccias a lot and we ended up eating 3 times in this place, very fresh and tasty
August 29 · Unai Arregui MaestreHit or miss spot! Today was definitely not the right day to visit All’Antico Vinaio. The schiacciata was disappointingly thin, with just one—maybe two—slices of mortadella and barely any pistachio spread. Absolutely unacceptable! This location lacks consistency in how they fill their schiacciata—one day it's decent, the next it's barely filled.😒 AVOID AT ALL COST
July 12 · Rocco LatorreWe first found this place in Florence. My husband just asked what the best sandwich would be and took the recommendation. He took one bite, then another and said “you need to taste this”. I did, of course, and I couldn’t even describe it. It may well have been the best food combination I ever have tasted! It resonated with me in such a wonderful way. We continued back and forth with that sandwich. While we chatted with tourists from Switzerland. The pic above is from an -All’antico Vinaio pop up on Manhattan. We couldn’t believe our luck to come across it. Here too the food was amazing. The staff were friendly offered great recommendations and made our sandwiches with expert speed and finesse. We hatted with man from New York who frequents Florence for its fine leather. This is the magic of good food- the enjoyment of the flavors, the comfort of the food, creates a shared experience that transcends barriers, foster connections and transform the unfamiliar into fond memories. Was that simple sandwich in Florence life changing? Maybe. It definitely enhanced ours!
June 20 · J_“Paradiso” is definitely my favorite. The combo is insane: silky mortadella, rich stracciatella (the creamy heart of burrata), and generous pistachio cream with crushed pistachios. The flavor balance is unreal — sweet, salty, nutty, and buttery all at once.I’d go back just for this.
