Anda Boba Tea & Zensen Sushi Introduce
## Introduction / Overview
In the diverse culinary landscape of Flushing, Queens, Anda Boba Tea & Zensen Sushi offers a unique dual concept, combining two of the neighborhood's most popular contemporary Asian food trends: a wide selection of customizable bubble tea and an extensive menu of sushi rolls. Located right on Main Street, this spot caters to New Yorkers looking for a refreshing drink, a quick meal, or a convenient combination of both.
Primarily functioning as a Bubble tea store, Anda offers an overwhelming array of beverages, including classic Milk Tea flavors, vibrant Tea Refresher options, and creamy Smoothies Category choices. The "Zensen Sushi" side provides a concise yet varied menu of standard and special Rolls, as well as convenient Bento Box combos, making it a functional stop for Lunch or Dinner. The establishment is geared toward efficiency, with service options optimized for the fast-paced nature of Flushing. While the concept is convenient, some user feedback points to a perception of high prices and the use of powders for some drinks, which is openly visible, suggesting a more transactional approach than a focus on high-craft specialty beverages.
Despite this, the restaurant serves a purpose for those craving both boba and sushi in one place, especially those in need of a Quick bite or Delivery. The ability to pay with Credit cards, Debit cards, and NFC mobile payments adds a significant layer of convenience that is highly valued by local patrons.

## What is Worth Choosing
Given the establishment's dual focus, a visit to Anda Boba Tea & Zensen Sushi is best maximized by choosing one of the highly-regarded drink specialties and pairing it with a cost-effective sushi combo.
1. The Must-Try Drink: The Brown Sugar Boba Milk is the #1 most liked item and should be the top choice for any boba fan. For a more unique and refreshing option, the Mango Pomelo—a fresh fruit smoothie with grapefruit pulp—is a highly recommended specialty, often praised when done well. When ordering tea, consider a classic like the Jasmine Milk Tea or one of the Tea Refresher options (such as Fresh Grapefruit or White Peach).
2. The Value Meal: The Bento Box combos offer the best economic option, combining sushi rolls, sashimi, or nigiri with a tea beverage. The Any 3 Roll with Tea option for $17.75 provides a filling, customizable meal that efficiently satisfies both a food and drink craving.
3. Sushi Selection: For sushi, the basic Rolls like the California Roll or Shrimp Tempura Roll are reliable choices for a quick, casual meal. The Special Rolls, such as the Lion Roll or Godzilla Roll, are designed for those looking for more complex, larger flavor combinations.
While some customer feedback raises concerns about the use of instant powders for certain drinks and variable customer service, the restaurant's wide array of highly customizable beverages, convenient location, and flexible payment methods make it a viable and popular choice for New Yorkers needing a quick, dual-purpose stop on Main Street.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I will never step foot in this place again...Visited with my niece for a drink to cool us down on a walk. From the second I entered the atmosphere was strange. The man at the register made little side comments that I did not want a large size, it was 8:00 P.M and we just wanted a small drink and it came across extremely rude and entitled. We waited about 10-15 minutes for our drink. We ordered a taro milk tea and a taro Oreo slush. The guy accidentally made a coconut drink and asked me if that was fine, I kindly requested to receive the original drink I had purchased and they scuffed and gave me my drink about 5 minutes later. However they still made my drink wrong... I had specifically requested no toppings and after the whole ordeal he made me a taro milk tea instead of the slush we had been waiting for. At this point I told them it was fine and would accept the drink as is, there was no apology on their end and they acted as if we had inconvenienced them. At this point I was just so unhappy, a supposed to be small treat on a hot walk had turned into such unpleasant experience. I used to enjoy this place I am not sure what exactly was going on today. The man working there seemed to be the owner and didn't seem like he wanted to be there at all.
July 20 · Judy ChenThis place is alright. I got to say though its not the best impression while you are ordering and the sushi guy spits in the garbage can right in front you. Not delicately but like snort lugie. Mean while a fly buzzes right in front of my face and why it got a "b" health rating is solved. I have seen worse so I was not phased.Let me take away the allure of this place: This place runs on cheap powders (which are not hidden in anyway) that you can buy on amazon. They have a great variety of powders sure, but the prices for the drinks nowhere match the quality of a boba tea you can get at another chain (coco for example) or downtown flushing. The powders themselves are fine, and they have a little mixing machine, and my drink came out pretty good, but knowing this powders they simply work on being high on sugar so you cant taste anything else. Most boba places really offer variety of sugar levels, this one cannot based on the them using instant powders.Essentially Andacafe is marking up the price. The actual cost of the drink i got, estimate is around 1 dollars to around 2 dollars. Thats an insane markup to 6.50 of this writing. Thats starbucks level costs but at least at starbucks you get excellent quality coffee and recipies that make the drink taste excellent. for the size and qaulity of the drink it should be only 4 dollars. The same is really happening on the food side but I would not get food here. Sushi is lucrative buisness if you can do it cheaply and thats what they are doing here, even though the combo doesn't make much sense. And their assorted snacks likely are the same. The problem with this place currently is they had a little space to setup this shop during when boba was really taking off and made it. However I dont see the passion in this place at all. The menu is overblown though mysterious still years later but end of the day its still just powders. Whats worse the powders are in plain sight of the customer! There is no mystery if that is the case! One guy can certainly mix all these drinks but ask what is special about this place if all you are doing is hydrating powders? Or basically heating up prepackaged food? There are a lot of places near this place that are actually modernizing the American/ Chinese food scene. They are not phoning it home with faux chineese-americain takeout fare but offering awesome experiences and great dining. This place is fine if your craving boba and nothing is around, but it will never quite be a institution. This place needs to see like all the seasons of hell kitchen, or copy one of the actual boba chains or, korean coffee places or luckins/ starbucks.
September 22 · Luke JohnsonOrdered a jasmine milk tea and a mango yakult. It took 25 minutes to get my drinks. Not sure why because everyone else that came after me got their drinks right away. When I finally got my jasmine milk tea it was a pale yellow. I asked them what drink was this and they said it was the milk tea. Took one sip and it was beyond disgusting. It tasted like nothing. Just water. The mango yakult had no yogurt flavor in it. It was more of a juice. I don't know how this place stays in business when the drinks it makes aren't even real drinks. I much rather sit in traffic and wait in line for a hour down in central flushing than to ever get a drink from here. Stay away unless you want to waste your money..... After all after my one sip my drink went in the garbage. Never again 🤮
August 09 · Serena EThe menu says 8 pieces of takoyaki for $6, but when I got home and opened the takeout box, there were only 6 pieces (I ate one already). There was no toppings and oily. The takoyaki was mostly just batter with very tiny pieces of octopus. This is the worst takoyaki I’ve ever had.Would you like to add any additional comments or adjust the tone?
December 18 · Yansy ChoiMy goto spot near home. Besides the gettho bowne kids that come in. I hope they don’t raise prices.
