April 07 · Daniela MartinezFinally a great Honduran spot in Brooklyn. Food is delicious, reminds me of my mom’s cooking growing up. Customer service is excellent, portions are amazing & the options are great. Very glad to have such a good spot in the area.I hate to have to update the review with a negative experience, Typically this place is great. This is the second time this has happened to me. They tend to take a while and the food is good but today was ridiculous, I waited about 45 minutes for 4 baleadas & 2 pupusas. No one was ahead of my order either, I finally get my order and my food is cold I opened it on my way home in the car (4 minutes max) the baleadas were cold. The beans were as cold as they just took it out of the fridge.. I had already waited too long to have to go back inside and complain, but extremely disappointed. I understand one slip up but this occurring a second time is ridiculous after making me wait for almost an hour.
December 24 · Ysatis AlvarezDelicious authentic Honduran cuisine, just as tasty as I remember growing up in Honduras. The yuca con chicharron is so good...ask for the crispy chicharron (pork rinds), which is the traditional way this dish is served. I also recommend the tradional baleadas and pupusas.I've been here a couple of times for take out and the service and staff is consistently great and friendly. Order ahead to cut on waiting time...the small kitchen is always busy, and there is only one cook preparing all the dishes. This is more of a take out place. There are a couple of tables for eating-in/quick bite.If you want a taste of great Honduran comfort food, head over to Antojitos Catrachos for the real deal.
