★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1So I went in today and met a friend and my friend spent $36.00 just for her slef eating and the food wasn’t satisfied the guacamole and chips was not good what so ever the guacamole was water down and the chips was hard and the Margarita drink was $14.00 and was told it had liquor in it and the my friend told me she didn’t taste no liquor and that her tacos meat was on the dry side with no flavor. But anyways that was my friend order let’s get to what I order and omg I was so mad after on how I got treated. So I had frist wanted a piece of grilled chicken for my daughter to go and I was told I would get charged $13.00 for two slices of grilled chicken I was like what so I decided to get chicken nuggets with fries which cost me $9.80 and that was for my child anyways I had another errand to do after I got the food so the food was basically to be eaten when I got home so when I got home to warm up the food i’ve seen some type of leg in the food first they look like cockroach legs but then when I looked at it again, it looked like the waterbug leg because the legs was kinda bigger than a cockroach lake. Anyways, I have pictures and stuff but what I’m trying to say is that and I told them they was something in my food and the daughters mother was like I don’t understand I don’t understand and then she told me to bring it back which I’m saying I am home. You mean to go out back in this nasty weather with my child to walk 19 blocks from where I live at just to go and bring back the food anyways I was so mad and upset and I was like damn $10 wasted. I’m going back I go back and then the father tells the daughter in Spanish. Oh check the food to make sure it’s all completed. Like is she serious ? There is a roach or some type of legs my food that I purchased for my child and then she seen a piece of chicken nugget was like torn apart. Yes, I ripped it apart to give it to my daughter, but something was telling me to move the fries around when I moved the fries around which the fries was nasty as well because , the fries was like kind of made like a potato wise or whatever she tries to tell me oh the food is not completed. I told her you gave me like eight pieces the nuggets and a little bit of fries like you really making a big deal about a half of nugget being broken , and then I was told by her mother I don’t know what’s wrong with the food that the Nuggets or whatever it comes from I didn’t care where it came from. I just didn’t want legs into my food so anyways, I should just people to be aware and be careful where you eat , don’t know what kind of bug parts you will be eating so always check your food. And also the workers aren’t wearing hair nets that’s and they have long hair. There address is 5807 5ave Brooklyn n.y 11220
February 12 · Jennifer BenedettiThe Tamarind Margarita was overly spicy and upset my stomach, while the steak lacked seasoning. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the waitress provided excellent service.
April 05 · Sony VelizIve eating here so many times and today was awful .I called in to get a delivery and the lady was nasty and rude this is the location on 59st in front of the church.I ordered 3 chicken quesadillas and when they arried they had no sour cream no lettuce no cheese . I called in and she rudely said you didnt ask for it ... i told her ofcourse i wasnt going to ask for it like that if it always comes like that . She said they stopped it because people are alergic which i understand 100% as my kids are allergic to a few things but she could of said something instead of sending a plain tortilla with just chicken and cheese inside & instead of fixing the problem she rudely said is that all you called for and proceeded to speak to another customer while i was trying to talk to her. Please have better customer service and if you dont serve items the way they are supposed to let people know .
July 13 · Adriana ArcentalesTried out the New Mexican restaurant on fifth avenue. The chilaquiles with steak and it was delicious. The sauce was nice and not overly spicy. I love the beans on the side which is nicely seasoned. The quesadilla was great for 6 dollars. Would definitely come again.
January 29 · Wuyang ZhengAmazing and authentic. Right across from the church. Not a lot of seating but worth the wait. This is not a spot for Instagram points, just really good food.
