Aprés Introduce
Perched high above the city skyline at One Vanderbilt, Aprés offers a truly unique dining experience that combines a stunning atmosphere with a thoughtful menu. This isn't your typical American restaurant; it's a Nordic-inspired café and bar designed to create a sense of "hygge"—a feeling of coziness and well-being. Aprés is an integral part of the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt experience, located on the 93rd floor of the skyscraper. It serves as a perfect final stop on the tour, allowing visitors to relax, unwind, and savor the breathtaking panoramic views of the city. The space itself is a marvel of design, blending striking architecture with warm, natural elements like rich wood and exposed steel beams, creating a serene and captivating environment that feels both vast and intimate. Whether you're looking for a quick bite after your tour or a special spot for a drink, Aprés provides an experience that is unlike any other in New York City.
The menu at Aprés is curated by Union Square Events and offers a selection of American-style small plates and snacks, along with a creative and extensive drink list. The food is perfect for a light meal or a shared experience. You can choose from "Any Time Bites" like Kettle Chips with onion dip, Mezze, and Pretzel Bites with cheese. For a more substantial snack, options like the Buffalo Chicken bites or a Pizza Square are available. The menu also includes classics like a New York Hot Dog and a Caprese Sandwich, which one customer noted was good. While the food is solid, the true highlight of Aprés is its beverage program. The cocktail list is particularly notable, featuring signature creations like the "Elevated Martini" and "Sky-Tai," along with unique, "felt-like" cocktails such as "Floating on Clouds" and "Flying in Space." The bar also offers a solid selection of wines, including Prosecco, Rosé, and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as a great variety of beer and mocktails. The menu is designed to complement the breathtaking views and casual, trendy atmosphere of the space.

Aprés is a dining destination worth choosing for its one-of-a-kind setting. While one customer noted that the presentation can feel "cheap" and "unnoteworthy" due to the use of plasticware, this is a conscious choice for a venue that serves thousands of guests daily and is a secondary part of a larger tourist attraction. Despite this, the quality of the food and drinks is generally well-regarded. The menu of "Any Time Bites" is well-suited for a quick and casual experience, and the cocktails are particularly praised. The fact that the food is good and a wide variety of snacks are available, as noted by a customer who tried the pretzel bites and pizza, makes it a reliable choice for a quick meal. The "great cocktails" are a consistent highlight across reviews. Ultimately, what you're paying for at Aprés is the complete package: the convenience, the quality of the drinks, and above all, the incredible, unmatched views of the New York City skyline. It's an ideal spot for a single drink and a bite to cap off an unforgettable visit to SUMMIT, offering a moment to linger and absorb the spectacular scenery. For tourists and locals looking for a visually stunning and casually upscale experience, Aprés is a must-visit.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Fairly remarkable drink selection and good snacks, but very cheap presentation, all for an outrageous price. I had a very nice elderflower martini and my mom had an adequate but unnoteworthy pinot noir, both served in plasticware. I had the kettle chips with onion dip and my mom had the almond croissant, served in paper/cardboard. Even independent of the price of admission (i.e. an over-priced Summit ticket), an overall poor value. Somehow they over-staff the bar and cashiers, but still takes forever to get proper service. I'm... confused. This could be a pretty remarkable experience but it feels cheap. Recommend only for a single drink and a bite to top off your Summit tour, but don't stay too long. Go elsewhere for an after-party. Better yet, skip the Summit altogether and head to One World Trade, Empire, or Top of the Rock.
May 16 · Kevin (Dawg) MabeThe food was good, we had the pretzel bites, potato chips, pizza, wings, and a caprese sandwich. Just need more space to eat.
April 06 · Michael DallasFood tastes great! But wish they had more varieties. Food price is very fair considering its location. View is awesome!
April 12 · Junjie LiOrder food here if you like pre-made frozen then microwaved crap. Also do not waste your money on awful drinks felt completely scammed by poor service and food. Actually gave away second drink tickets because they were so bad. Save your money and skip this place.
June 12 · Vanessa FrenchIt's not a restaurant.. it's just last stop at the whole Summit experience. Too many people, they come and go, too busy, the place itself is small. It would be much better if they built a separate normal restaurant where you can seat, eat, enjoy drinks with such perfect view, without buying a ticket. But that place does not have a 'restaurant' atmosphere. It's a bar with drinks where they make money on tourists. Putting as much ice as possible in a glass is my favorite, I saw how an employee literally shake and press ice into an already full glass of ice to get less space for actual drink 🍸The views of course are great. But like other reviews said the windows need to be cleaned..
