When you visit Autumn's Place, what's truly worth choosing is the opportunity to explore a menu rich in flavor and tradition. If you’re a fan of Caribbean cuisine, the Griot with its side of rice and plantains is a must-try. As one reviewer noted, the combination of griot with rice and peas is "to die for." The Oxtail is another standout, slow-braised to perfection and simmered in a rich, savory gravy that’s full of Caribbean spices. For a taste of their American comfort food, the Autumn's Pasta with Jerk Chicken is a popular choice that has received high praise for its amazing flavor.
The drinks are also a highlight. While the full cocktail list is impressive, the mention of the Jacmel Mule by a customer is a strong recommendation. This drink, likely a Haitian-inspired take on a ginger beer-based cocktail, is a refreshing and unique choice that you won’t find everywhere. Another reason to choose Autumn’s Place is the variety of options; from the meaty main courses to the unique Mac N' Cheese Bowls and flavorful tacos, there's something to satisfy every craving.
Ultimately, what is worth choosing is the full experience. It's the combination of the delicious food, the welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, and the excellent service that sets Autumn's Place apart. September 10 · Sassy VeeThe food was delicious. I cleared my plate and was sad there wasn't anymore. Their pikliz, griot, diri djon djon and jerk chicken tacos were on point.
June 20 · Valerie SThe food was so good and the service was perfection. Highly recommend their cocktails and the salmon—both were standout hits.
June 26 · Dilan AThe food was ok. Tasted fine but portions weren’t worth the cost. The drinks were very weak, $15 rum punch in a rocks glass lacking any alcohol. Service was lackluster. Bartender was also the server for the entire place on a Saturday night which says a lot, it was dead. Which leads me to atmosphere, it was underwhelming. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt but when I asked the bartender about the cost of the side of plantains ($10 on the bill but should have been $5 extra with the meal) she said I just pushed the button to order it, relinquishing herself of any responsibility and not offering to adjust the bill. Don’t waste your time.
