I got a great Turkey club bagel sandwich and a delicious chocolate croissant. The food was absolutely amazing, great portion sizes, the bagel was clean, and the prices were affordable. Very pleased! Will be back next time I visit Manhattan!

I used to come here often but not much now since so many more bagel shops have opened. The girl in front of me asked for cheese on her sandwich when she reached the cash (the server didn’t give her the option when she ordered earlier) and wow, you’d think she asked for a freebie the way the cashier rolled his eyes! Everyone working there looks miserable and sandwiches are expensive in comparison to the newer shops. It benefits from its location on York but that’s it. I won’t be back. Lighten up, guys!

Bagel Bob’s is an alright spot for a bagel, but it’s nothing extraordinary. The bagels are decent, soft and chewy, but the flavor doesn’t really stand out compared to other places in the area. The toppings are good, but the service can be a bit slow depending on when you go. It’s a convenient choice if you’re in the area and craving a quick bagel, but there are definitely better spots in the city.

I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheddar cheese on an everything bagel. It was $7.89. The toppings were good, but the everything bagel didn’t have much flavor. The service was fine, and it didn’t take long to get my order.

Pros:- decent bagels, not the greatest but they’ll do- fast lines on a weekend, or order ahead- good selection of beverages etc.- usually clean, lots of tables for a small place, quick turnoverCons:- checkout process is chaotic, manual cc machine with signed receipts- staff in charge of credit cards sometimes associates customer w/incorrect order and can be challenging to rectify order/customer in busy environment- in my experience, even simple orders are frequently incorrect—> e.g., today I ordered a toasted pumpernickel with scallion cream cheese. Got home - not toasted, with plain cream cheese—> *always* check both your bag and receipt before leaving (was in a hurry so I forgot)
