★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Lovely lunch at the Balcony Lounge inside of the Metropolitan Museum. I had no idea this was here and it was a nice place to have a quiet solo lunch. Loved the spicy cocktail and would return just for that. I would like to come back with a few friends and sit in the lounge area, feels like a living room, and just face drinks and appetizers. Many art books to take in and it just had a nice vibe. My salmon salad was good and I will definitely try again during my next day at the Met.
March 12 · Candy LatinoA great place where you can take a break between long-term exploration! Disadvantage: Pretty expensive :) Friday and Saturday nights include life music!
December 21 · Vania SamoilenkoWe went for lunch. We ordered BLT sandwich and eggplant flatbread. They were just ok. The latte that I ordered was lukewarm and bland.
November 03 · Seo Jung ParkOne of our favorite places on the city. We have visited several times and upgrade membership for it. Unfortunately this time service was missing. We placed order, which we had to repeat several time because they guy wouldn’t write it down. We also had to wave down for additional cocktails. No, it was actually pretty empty so wasn’t a result of business. We will return but for customers please don’t settle for mediocre service experience- you are there because you love the MET- expect staff to love the MET too.
July 06 · ScottI've been a Met member (Evening Hours) since 2018. Sadly, I feel that this will be my last year. Service is lacking and the prices have gone up while the membership benefits have been curbed. But most of all - during my last visit, the hostess was extremely callous and unprofessional in her opening spiel.I used to go to the Balcony Lounge all the time for a coffee and a quick work session on my laptop. I never stayed past an hour. This time, when I asked if I could get a table instead of a sofa so that I could use my laptop, she quipped that I should not spend hours on my laptop and just order one coffee if possible. I was speechless.Time to support another Museum.
